Thanks to our generous church members and church friends! We should be able to get a couple of hundred kids off to a good start with school supplies and backpacks on Sunday! Nice new backpacks courtesy of the Lincoln Food Bank

Bring your kids between 11 and 12 or 12:30. Groceries and school supplies until they’re gone!

Do your high school kids need volunteer hours for the National Honor Society or anything else?

We'll be packing school supplies in backpacks on Thursday evening (July 30) for distribution with our grocery distribution on Sunday, August 2.

We'll start at 5, and will go till we're done and have things put away. Come when you can, leave when you must.

Rumor has it there might be some pizza available for those who need sustenance (once we get an idea of how many will be there).

Items we could still use for school supply backpacks:

4-packs of black EXPO fine tip dry-erase markers
24-count crayons (60 boxes needed)
1 inch 3-ring binders (30 needed)
2 inch 3-ring binders (30 needed)
Composition Notebooks (30 needed)
College ruled spiral notebooks, 70 sheet (30 needed)
3 x 5 note card packages (30 needed)

Thanks to all who have contributed. We will take whatever folks feel called to give, and any cash donated will be used to purchase what is needed yet.

We will be packing up backpacks on Thursday evening beginning at 5 pm until we're finished.
