LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
LOVING GOD AND HIS WORK ARE THE HIGHEST PRIORITY

When the Lord Jesus sent His followers to share the Gospel with their Jewish families in Matthew chapter 10, He established a radical boundary: no earthly relationship or priority can take precedence over Him. Christ does not call us to love our families less, but to love Him so supremely that every other devotion pales in comparison. When God and His work occupy the central throne of our lives, our other priorities do not diminish; instead, they are rightly ordered.

This is critical because when we prioritize our family over God, a subtle pride can develop within them, convincing them that they are more important than Him. As a result, they, too, will fail to prioritize God and His work, eventually drifting away from the church and its mission.

May this serve as a powerful reminder.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
ONLY THE LORD JESUS CAN CLEANSE YOU.

This is the very reason why the Lord Jesus left heaven's glory to die on our behalf to save us from our sins.
The word of God tells us in Philippians 2:6–8: “Though He was God, He did not demand and cling to His rights as God. He made Himself nothing; He took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. And in human form He obediently humbled Himself even further by dying a criminal's death on a cross.”

Only through the shedding of the holy blood of the Lord Jesus can we be cleansed from our sins. Romans 3:25 says: “For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed His blood, sacrificing His life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when He did not punish those who sinned in former times.” Galatians 3:22 also says: “But the Scriptures have declared that we are all prisoners of sin, so the only way to receive God's promise is to believe in Jesus Christ.”

You cannot deny that you need Jesus. He is the only one who
can cleanse you, make you pure, and set you free from sin.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
GOD IS OUR INHERITANCE

Anyone who believes and receives the Lord Jesus is given the right to become a child of God, according to John 1:12–13.
This great blessing also makes us recipients of a heavenly inheritance. As the Prophet Jeremiah declared in Lamentations 3:24, "The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will hope in Him!"

All of this became possible because of what our Lord Jesus did for us: He left heaven and became poor, taking the form of a servant, so that we, who were sinners, could become children of God through repentance and faith in Christ Jesus. As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 8:9, “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.”

When you become a child of God, your ultimate inheritance is God Himself!

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
GOD’s WILL IS GOOD

When the Lord Jesus was a boy, Mary and Joseph lost Him on their way back to Nazareth from Jerusalem. They later found Him in the temple, where the boy Jesus said to them, "Why were you looking for me? Didn't you know I had to be in my Father’s house?" (Luke 2:49). That is the last recorded incident about His childhood, along with Luke 2:52, which states, "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor
with God and man."

His example from youth was one of doing the Will of His Father. He made no excuses and never used His divine authority to exempt Himself from the normal process of life.

It is said that when General Montgomery took command in North Africa to lead the Allied forces, he declared, "My commands are to be carried out. Orders no longer form the basis for discussion, but for action." The soldiers obeyed and they won the war.

Similarly, when we do God’s Will, by strictly obeying His instructions, we will reap a harvest of blessings and victory.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
LIVE A PLEASING AROMA TO GOD

The Order of the Mustard Seed, founded by Count Zinzendorf, rests on three guiding principles: Be kind to all people, seek their welfare, and win them to Christ.

This was the lifelong advocacy of Count Zinzendorf, a Christian born of noble heritage. He began to love the Lord at the age of six. Zinzendorf walked in continuous communion with Christ, fellowshipping with Him as one would with a close friend until the day he died. He surrendered his entire life and wealth to the work of Jesus Christ.

Such a life is a pleasing aroma to God.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
GOD KNOWS OUR MOTIVE

In John 8, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought forward a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They said to Jesus, "This woman was caught in the act of adultery. The Law of Moses commands us to stone her. What do you say?"

The Lord Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger, then stood up and said, "All right, stone her. But let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!"
When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only Jesus was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman.

Much speculation has been written about what Jesus wrote on the ground. Whatever it was, the accusers were convicted of their own sin, realizing that the Lord Jesus knew everything about them.

The Lord knows us and everything we have done, and He expects us to repent and turn away from wrongdoing.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
GOD IS OUR STRENGTH

Loneliness attacks when you are burdened with heavy problems and feel completely alone. Depression enslaves a person, pushing anyone in this situation to try anything to escape using whatever money can buy—whether drugs or temporary leisure. However, the sad reality is that the problems remain.

Asaph, the praise and worship leader of King David, penned Psalm 73. Although he nearly lost his confidence in God, stating in verse 2, "But as for me, I came so close to the edge of the cliff! My feet were slipping, and I was almost gone," he was ultimately reassured that God kept him secure. God was His refuge.

The more we desire God, the stronger we become during times of trial. He gives us the very strength we need.

LIFE’S PRINCIPLE:
GOD IS FOREVER GOOD AND FAITHFUL.

King David said in Psalm 145:9 “The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all His creation.” Moses declared in Deuteronomy 7:9 “Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps His covenant for a thousand generations and constantly loves those who love Him and obey His commands.”

If you receive Him as Lord and Savior you will experience a good and faithful God forever.
