What would change this week if time with Jesus became something you chose on purpose instead of something you hoped you could fit in? Following Jesus grows through intentional moments of prayer, Scripture, worship, and simply making room to listen. It does not have to look complicated. Maybe it is ten quiet minutes before everyone wakes up, a walk where you talk to God, or opening your Bible before opening another app. Jesus is worth making room for, and time with Him has a way of shaping how we carry everything else. Here is a practical experiment for this week: intentionally do something that gives you absolutely nothing in return. Help somebody who cannot improve your reputation. Buy a meal for someone who cannot repay you. Sit with someone who usually gets overlooked. Use your gift to make another person stronger, then let them receive the credit. Ask the Holy Spirit each morning, “Who can be helped by what You have placed in me today?”

Jesus never asked us to manufacture fruit through exhaustion. In John 15, He tells us to remain in Him because fruit grows from connection. Before you add another responsibility, another goal, or another thing to prove, ask whether your life is actually flowing from time with Jesus!

Two years in, and we have a whole lot to thank God for. 🙌 What started with a vision to care for Jersey has become a growing family of people meeting Jesus, finding community, serving their neighbors, and discovering what faith looks like in everyday life. On October 4, we are celebrating every story God has written so far while looking ahead with expectation for all that is still to come.
