Pride is a nasty thing.
It causes one to think so highly of themselves that they lack compassion for others.
It's so nasty that the one who is controlled by their pride, can never accept correction, for they're always right.
In the last few years I have dealt with the most prideful of them all.
Religious bigots who spew out traditions of men rather than the straight up word of God.

Wow!

I believe the church should not be all Spanish, or all black, or all white.
This thought is in the context of being an American.
Yet Sunday in America is one of the most segregated days of our week. I want our church to be multicultural without the communism.
I get this thinking, not from a political point of view, but a biblical one. In heaven there will be people of all nations there.
Listen to Revelation 7:9
"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands."

Matthew 15:23
"But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us."

When was the last time you cried after the LORD?
To save you.
To heal you.
When have you cried unto GOD with necessity?
Some times God doesn't answer, what then?
Do you keep crying out to him or relent in disbelief?
I pray you keep crying out to the LORD for he will be gracious to you when you trust him with all your heart!
Just like the Canaanite woman did!

I have decided not to be cookie cutter minister, or a follower of church trends. This has cost me, but I least I have not marketed Jesus and his church for filthy LUCRE!

Many have a difficult time receiving biblical correction.
Yet, it is one of the great blessings God can give a man, or a nation. We learn from the correction God provides.
It is God's way of developing character in our lives where there is a definite flaw. However it is a sad account that many christians today follow the footsteps of the rebellious Jews in the Old Testament.
They constantly fought the prophets God sent them.
Even in Zechariah 7 God is directing them how to be righteous and treat others with compassion.
Don't oppress the widow, the fatherless, and the stranger.
Yet in verse 11-12 we hear of their Rebellion!
"But they refused to attend, and madly turned their back, and made their ears heavy, so that they should not hear.
12And they made their heart disobedient, so as not to hearken to my law, and the words which the Lord Almighty sent forth by his Spirit by the former prophets: so there was great wrath from the Lord Almighty."
