St. David's on the Hill Church (Episcopal)

St. David's on the Hill Church (Episcopal) The 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays include two options to worship: 9 AM Morning Prayer or 5 PM Holy Eucharist. The 2nd Sunday will have Holy Eucharist at 9 AM. St.

On September 13, 1914, Hannah Clark held the first session of the Meshanticut Park Sunday School in her home on Cranston Street. Assisted by her sister-in-law Mrs. William Jepson, she taught her own five children, plus six others. From this humble, faith-filled beginning, grew St. David’s on-the-Hill. Originally a mission of All Saints’ Memorial Church, Providence, St. David’s was incorporated in

1921, became self-supporting in 1946 and was accepted as an independent parish in 1950. David's on-the-Hill is proud to be an inclusive, open and affirming community that welcomes everyone, regardless of faith background. We welcome all who seek God's presence, all baptized Christians, to join us at Christ's table.
