Our Lady's Altar Society (OLAS) is an organization dedicated to serving our parish in many ways, including cleaning and maintaining altar linens and vestments and fundraising to purchase candles, communion wafers, wine, and other altar supplies. altar supplies. In addition, Our Lady's Altar Society ministers to our parish through social and service projects and serves as a fellowship for all women of our parish. Women interested in serving and enjoying the fellowship of others in the parish are invited to join. We look forward to meeting you! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to our Our Lady’s Altar Society meeting this week! Your presence, fellowship, and dedication continue to strengthen our parish community in such a beautiful way.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Our benches have arrived for our the Bible garden. Thank you to OLAS for collecting the money and thank you to everyone that donated. The company where we bought them gave us two extra. We will have 25 benches for our garden. May God continue to bless all of you for blessing our parish. Also, thank you to Cynthia and Todd Schroeder who drove to Hempstead Texas and picked them up for us and to Mike Gamez who unloaded the truck. Blessings!

Update - We are thrilled to share that we have reached our goal for the new Rosary Garden benches! Thanks to your incredible generosity, we are now able to purchase all of them.
We truly cannot thank you enough for your support and kindness. This meaningful contribution will bless our community for years to come.

At our recent meeting, we were blessed to hear a beautiful presentation from Dottie and Father about the upcoming Bible Garden being planned for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. We’re thrilled to share that OLAS has voted to sponsor the benches for this special project!

The Bible Garden will include the Stations of the Cross, a Rosary Walk, and plants of the Bible, creating a peaceful and prayerful space for our parish community.

If you would like to sponsor a bench or make a donation toward the project, please make your check payable to OLAS. You can place it in an envelope labeled “OLAS Bible Garden” and drop it in the collection basket at Mass.

Each bench costs $165, and we need 23 benches total. These sturdy two-person benches measure 41" long, 16" deep, and 17.5" tall, and weigh 387 pounds each — built to last for generations to come.

(Powerful truths of Christ's Catholic Church!)🙏
The Priest. Honor the priest.
Who received your soul as it entered on its spiritual life by baptism? The priest.
Who nourished it and gave it strength on its pilgrimage? The priest.
Who will prepare it to go before God? The priest - always the priest.
And if the soul should die by sin, who will call it back to life and give it rest and peace? Again, the priest.

Can you remember a single gift of God without seeing by its side a priest? Of what use would a house of gold be if you had no one to open the door for you? The priest has the key to the treasures of Heaven. He opens the door; he distributes the gifts of God.

If you went to confession to the Blessed Virgin or to an angel, could they absolve you? No. Could they give you the Body and Blood of Jesus? No. The Blessed Virgin could not call her Divine Son down into the Host and were a thousand angels to exert their power they could not absolve you from one venial sin. But a priest, no matter how humble he be, can do these. He can say to you, "Go, your sins are forgiven you".

Thanks to everyone who came out to support our Bake Sale tonight after the 5:30pm Mass. We will be back out here tomorrow following all Masses to continue our bake sale at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church! We also loved having the Little Flowers Girls’ from James L. Collins Catholic School out there to help.
