🇪🇨 ECUADOR 2026 | Friday & Saturday Update! 🇪🇨
What an incredible couple of days God has given our team in Ecuador!
☀️ Friday – Day 1 of VBS!
We traveled to U de Chamba for our first day of VBS. Since this was the first week of school, we weren’t able to go into the schools like originally planned—but God had another plan! We set up in a public park, and before long, children started running over to see what was happening. 🙌
Cathy and John shared the story of Abraham and God’s promise of many descendants, and the kids had a great time with crafts, recreation, and music. We had around 40 children join us!
From there, we traveled to a church in Ambato, where Raj spent time teaching on evangelism, discipleship, and doctrine. It was a long day, but such a good and successful one!
❤️ Saturday – Ministry in Pelileo & Day 2 of VBS!
Raj spent most of Saturday continuing the conference in Ambato, while the rest of our team headed into Pelileo. We divided into two groups and went house to house, visiting with families, hearing their stories, and having the opportunity to pray with them. Those personal moments were incredibly special.
Then it was time for Day 2 of VBS! 🎉 Bobby and John shared the story of Joseph and his coat of many colors, and of course the kids got to make their very own colorful coats for craft time!
We had even more children show up Saturday, and it was especially exciting to see so many parents join us too!
We’re tired, grateful, and excited about what God is doing. Thank you, Northside family, for praying for us and being a part of this mission from back home. Keep praying for our team and for every child and family we have the opportunity to meet!
