Greetings from our travels to Romania. I have posted on my personal page thinking they would link to the Chapel’s Facebook but looks like they did not. Candy and I have traveled to Romania to be part of one our J1 International students wedding and to visit with others along the way. Ana and George who were in Corolla in 2024 are getting married. Simona and Alex were for there for multiple years 2016-19. They were not a couple then, that came years later. They now have two girls 3 and 1. They drove many hours from Bucharest’s see us. We had hope to see some students when passing through Türkiye but they got excited and came to the airport a day early. Here are some pictures of the trip. We have been so blessed!!

Glory!! The new carpet in the Chapel sanctuary is down and install is complete. Thanks to the help from the Fire Department who helped with a "Coordinated Heavy Lift Exercise and Traing " the piano is back in place and thanks to Oscar the sound system is up and running. For anyone who can, we will be meeting at 10am tomrrow, Friday, July 18th to move the pews and other items back into the sanctuary so we will be ready to go Sunday. Thanks all, Pastor Jim

Once again the Corolla Community is coming together to hold a golf tournement with the proceeds benefitting Corolla Chapel. This is the eight consecutive year for this event which was started by Jack Burke and has been continued by the hard work of a number of dedicated and caring individuals, plus they like to play golf! We will be having four service this Easter Sunday. There will be a "Sunrise Service" on the main ocean front pool deck at Corolla Light Resort at 6:30. Get the a little early because actual sunrise is at 6:22. This will be followed by an 8:30 am service at Corolla Chapel, then an 10 am service at Corolla Chapel with the final service being at 11:30 am. Communion will be served at all four service as we remember and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus. Look forward to seeing you Sunday.
