Denton Baptist Association Our mission is to strengthen churches, assist in planting churches, and to connect churches in healthy ministry partnerships! I.

Like our page and keep up to date on what God is doing here! Denton Baptist Association is a network of diverse, autonomous churches working together to plant new churches, equip and nurture one another, and engage in cooperative ministries for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. The Identity Statement for Denton Baptist Association expresses the essence of our values, our mission, and

our vision. The long-standing values of the Association are expressed in three key words or phrases that are each tied to the local churches that compose the Association.

• working together (cooperation)

II. The interactive mission of the Association has a foundation of three major points of contact.

• planting new churches
• equipping and nurturing one another
• engaging in cooperative ministries

The focused vision of the Association is to provide an environment of resources and cooperation that enhances the effectiveness of the network of churches in fulfilling the Great Commission primarily in the Greater Denton County Area, but extending to the farthest regions of the earth.

Today we’re highlighting Legacy Church in Plano!

Organized in 1979 and joining DBA in 2005, Legacy Church is a non-denominational congregation committed to servant leadership, relational discipleship, and local and global missions. Over the years, the church has invested in Life Groups, next-generation ministry, church planting, and mission partnerships around the world, seeking to equip and send people to live on mission for Christ.

We’re thankful for Legacy Church and its commitment to discipleship, missions, and making a lasting Kingdom impact as part of DBA!

Every day leading up to our 140th Anniversary Celebration on October 29, we’ll be highlighting one of the churches that makes up the Denton Baptist Association family.

Today we’re highlighting Landmark Community Church in Argyle!

Organized in 1876 as Graham Baptist Church and joining DBA in 1901 as First Baptist Church of Argyle, Landmark Community Church has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel and served generations throughout southern Denton County. In 2026, the congregation began a new chapter with a new name and a new campus, while continuing its commitment to strengthening families, equipping the next generation, and pointing people to Christ.

We’re thankful for Landmark Community Church and its faithful Gospel legacy and continued ministry as part of DBA!

Today we’re highlighting Lakeway Family Church in The Colony!

Organized in 1986, Lakeway Family Church has been a longstanding part of the The Colony community, growing alongside the city through decades of ministry. Known historically as Lakeway Baptist Church, the congregation has focused on Bible-based teaching, family ministry, children’s programs, small groups, and community outreach.

We’re thankful for Lakeway Family Church and its longstanding commitment to serving families and sharing the gospel throughout The Colony as part of DBA!

Today we’re highlighting Lake Shore Baptist Church in Lake Dallas!

Organized in 1968, Lake Shore Baptist Church has faithfully served the Lake Cities region for more than five decades. Throughout its history, the church has been committed to gospel-centered teaching, worship, children and youth ministries, community outreach, and caring for families throughout the area.

Today we’re highlighting King’s Church Denton!

Organized in 2025, King’s Church Denton launched weekly public worship services in September 2025 with a vision to reach Denton with the gospel, serve the city, and make disciples among college students and families. Planted through The Salt Network, the church also offers The Salt Company, a college ministry helping students know and follow Jesus.

We’re thankful for King’s Church Denton and its commitment to proclaiming the gospel, serving the community, and making disciples as part of DBA!

Today we’re highlighting Iglesia Bíblica Reformada in Denton!

Organized in 2021, Iglesia Bíblica Reformada was established by Denton Bible Church to serve the growing Spanish-speaking community throughout Denton County. With a commitment to “enseñar y vivir el cristianismo bíblico” — teaching and living biblical Christianity — the church emphasizes biblical teaching, Christ-centered ministry, discipleship, and doctrinal faithfulness.

Today we’re highlighting Iglesia Bautista Eben-Ezer in Denton!

Organized in 2016, Iglesia Bautista Eben-Ezer was founded by Pastor Ulises Longoria and his wife, Claudia, with a mission to reach and serve the Spanish-speaking population throughout North Texas. Originally launched with the support of Mid-Way Church in Pilot Point, the church has continued to grow through outreach, evangelism, worship, youth programs, VBS, and sports ministries.

Today we’re highlighting Iglesia Bautista Betania in Denton!

Organized in 1998, Iglesia Bautista Betania joined DBA that same year. As a Hispanic Southern Baptist congregation, the church has served the Spanish-speaking community of Denton for many years through biblical preaching, Spanish-language worship, family-centered ministries, and community involvement.

Every day leading up to our 140th Anniversary Celebration on October 29, we’ll be highlighting one of the churches that makes up the Denton Baptist Association family.

Today we’re highlighting Highland Baptist Church in Denton!

Organized in 1891, Highland Baptist Church petitioned to DBA in 1892. The church has faithfully served the Denton community for more than 130 years, relocating to its present site on Scripture and Thomas in 1975. Today, Highland continues to engage its neighbors through community meals, block parties, a tiny pantry, and other outreach ministries.
