The Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church family pauses to honor the life of Minister John Marcellus Holmes a faithful servant whose spirit and voice will be greatly missed. At Mount Calvary, he served with humility, dedication, and a selfless heart, giving of his time and love to all. His legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire generations to come. Please, keep Minister Holmes’ family: Carrie, Tempest, Kyrie, and Jeremy in your prayers as they walk through this season of grief.

This Easter, we celebrate the victory, the promise, and the power of our risen Savior! At Mount Calvary Baptist Church, we rejoice in the love that was shown on the cross and the hope that rose from the grave.

We are especially proud of our youth, who played a powerful role in today’s celebration sharing speeches, lifting songs, and boldly proclaiming the resurrection message. Your light and faith continue to inspire us all!

Because He lives, we have new life, new mercy, and a renewed purpose!
