Our Christian Women’s Group met this week and brought snacks/food for school teachers! We are splitting it between teachers that go to our church to support their students at public school .

Pictured standing are just the retired teachers out of that group ❤️

The Christian Women’s Group meet monthly and help a different cause such as food pantry, gateway center, nursing homes, oncology department, etc. This month was dedicated to supporting our school teachers and their students to start the year feeling blessed and prayed over.

Our parents have worked hard to make this year’s Bibles & Brunch extra special! 💕 Not only did they come and wrap their child’s Bible in 5 different layers, but they also wrote personalized notes inside and highlighted Bible verses they are praying over their child.

Be sure to join us during this Sunday’s sermon at 9AM to see our precious 3rd graders (along with a couple of 4th and 5th graders!) receive their Bibles and learn the significance behind the layered wrapping. 📖✨

We can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone with them!

📣 5TH SUNDAY REMINDER!

Tomorrow is a Combined Service Sunday! 🙌

❌ No 9 AM Emerge
✅ Yes, there is Sunday School
🕚 11 AM Combined Service
📍 Activities Center

And tomorrow’s service is extra special because our youth are leading us! 💙

BONUS: The youth have prepared a baked potato bar for lunch for everyone. Stay after for a church wide lunch! 🥔

💬 Talk about it at home: Ask your child, “Have you ever felt scared or nervous to talk about Jesus?” Remind them that we don’t have to be afraid. The Holy Spirit gives us the power and courage to be brave, share our faith, and use the gifts God has given us to serve others.

This Week: The Roles of the Holy Spirit
Last week, we learned who the Holy Spirit is and how it was present at creation, hovering over the waters. 🌊
Then appeared as Jesus was baptized 🕊️. This week, we focused on the roles of the Holy Spirit and how it gives believers different gifts to serve the church and others.⛪️💝

At Pentecost, 🔥Jesus’ promise in Acts 1:8 came to life the Holy Spirit gave the disciples power, courage, and the ability to share Jesus with people from different nations.

🖍️ Our Activity: We used chalk to connect creation and Pentecost, drawing how the Holy Spirit was present over the waters and later appeared as flames of fire. We talked about how we can’t see the wind, but we can see what it does just like we can’t see the Holy Spirit, but we can see it work in our lives.

Hey everyone! 👋🏼 Welcome back to Wednesday nights! Just a quick reminder for tonight:
🍽️ Family Supper is at 5:30 PM.
👧🏼 Kids will be dismissed from supper at 6:15 PM.
📍 Meet in Activities Center and sign in/check them in with us. We’ll walk all the kids over to the Children’s Hall together at 6:15.

This helps us keep everyone accounted for and prevents little ones from wandering the halls. 😅Thanks for helping us start the year off smoothly!
