Emerald Crossing VBS 2026

We had so much fun that we didn’t capture nearly as many pictures but our hearts are full from all that God did.The children went on an adventure through Psalm 23, discovering that God is our Good Shepherd who guides, comforts, and cares for us every step of the way. We had the yummiest Irish dinners followed by themed snacks, to music ,crafts & games to tie in the lesson time.

Day 1: Lost to Found
We learned that we can cross from being lost in our sin to being found by the Good Shepherd when we repent and believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Day 2: Fearful to Peaceful
We learned that we can cross from fear to peace when we focus on God and trust His care for us. Even when David walked through deep valleys, he knew God was with him and would comfort him.
Day 3: Shaky to Sure
We learned that we can cross from building our lives on our own ideas to standing on the sure foundation of God’s Word. We can trust His promises and look for the goodness and mercy He gives us.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our kids’ bake sale today! This bunch showed up early, helped set up, and worked hard thank you to everyone who stopped by, purchased treats coffees and pink drinks! The families made cookies, cake, banana bread, Rice Krispies, sausage balls, pigs in a blankets, grits bowls, yogurt parfaits…. And much more! 🤤
Your support is helping send our kids to camp at Epworth in St. Simons, and we are so thankful for the way our church family continues to pour into them and supporting them ☀️

We can’t believe VBS week has already come to an end! We are so thankful for an amazing week. We learned how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd. 🐑
