A heartfelt thank you to Bruce and Dale for pitching in on an important water drainage improvement project. Stewarding 100 acres is truly a community effort, and their extra time and hard work help keep Menucha beautiful, welcoming, and ready to serve the thousands of people who visit each year. We couldn't do it without volunteers like them.

Tucked into a quiet corner of the forest, you'll find one of Menucha's newest features: our Peace Pole.

Surrounded by trees, with a bench nearby and sweeping views beyond, it almost blends into the landscape. That's part of what makes it special. It is a place to slow down, sit for a while, and reflect on what peace means in your own life and in our world.

Whether you spend a few moments in quiet contemplation, offer a prayer, or simply enjoy the stillness, the Peace Pole invites us to remember that peace begins with each of us.

Curious to see it for yourself? Join us at Menucha's Open House on June 14 from 11 am to 3 pm and explore the grounds, including this peaceful new addition.

This week’s takes us back just one year ago, when Menucha staff and volunteers joined forces with the team from Sunrise Daisy to put the finishing touches on the new Survivor's Path, officially launched in June 2025.

One year later, the path has become a deeply meaningful and treasured part of the property for so many who visit Menucha.

If you have not had a chance to experience it yet, join us for our Open House on June 14 from 11am–3pm. The path will be open for visitors, and you’ll also have the chance to meet Dr. Valerie Correa, the visionary behind the project.

“From the moment we arrived, I felt myself exhale.”

We often hear versions of that feeling. Not because Menucha removes life’s challenges, but because sacred spaces give us room to face them with a little more clarity, peace, and perspective.

Raindrops on roses and mist in the trees… spring at Menucha has its own favorite things.

There is something about a rainy morning here that slows everything down in the best possible way. Quiet paths, fresh air, and flowers catching every drop.

A glimpse into the 1920s. Before smartphones, before rotary dials, before most homes even had a telephone... there was this. A surviving piece of Menucha’s earliest days. Hidden in plain sight at Menucha. Where am I?

It’s almost pool season at Menucha, which makes this week’s especially fitting. There’s something magical about a sunrise swim at Menucha. As we get closer to summer, we’re looking back at this early morning photo from a guest group six years ago. Since the pool is naturally heated, it offers just enough chill for those seeking the full polar plunge experience.
