Do you pray with boldness, expecting that God can and will answer in bold ways? Do you align your life with the will of God, ready to step into those answered prayers?

Our God is able to do mighty things, and He’s willing to listen when we ask. He always desires to bless those who seek Him and walk in His ways, and we have the opportunity to be a part of the amazing things He is doing in our city, region, and world. Even when the way is difficult, we can take joy in the knowledge that we are on mission for a God who has already conquered it all.

God Wins Every Battle | Pastor Josh Stevens | Travelers Church Pittsburgh

10/28/2026

God wants to win every battle you face, because He has already won the war. King Jesus is on the throne! Yet Joshua 7-10 shows that God chooses to win these battles through His people, which means the only thing standing in the way of victory is sometimes us. Israel lost at the battle of Ai because Achan took what belonged to God, and his sin followed a familiar pattern: he saw, he coveted, and he hid. Greed is a quiet killer of the mission, and God does not want just a piece of our time, talent, and treasure, but all of it.

When Israel obeyed, God gave them victory at Ai, and Joshua’s first response was to build an altar, offer sacrifices, and read God’s Word aloud. God has won every battle, so we pray big, bold, faith-filled prayers and walk in obedience to His will!

God desires for us to bring all our requests to Him, and to pray bold and confident prayers, expectant that He can do mighty things. Yet so often we only involve Him in the moments of major decisions and crisis, not in the day-by-day steps of hearing and walking with Him daily.

What would your life look like if you asked for God’s wisdom at every step of your journey, not just the big, make-or-break moments? How might you see God work mightily in the trials and joys you encounter each day?

Sandals come off before swords go up. Before we can do great things for God, we must stand in humility before His utter glory and holiness.

God wants to break down powerful barriers in life, but the most biggest barrier is our heart!

No Barrier God Can’t Break | Pastor Wes Winebarger | Travelers Church Pittsburgh

10/21/2026

There is no barrier God can’t break, but we can only march with Him once we know Him for who He is. In Joshua 5 and 6, Joshua met the Commander of the Lord’s army (a pre-incarnate Jesus) outside Jericho and fell on his face in worship, and Jesus told him to take off his sandals because the ground was holy. Our worship of the Lord must precede the work He’s given us to do. Sandals must come off before swords go up.

Every person in God’s army had a role to play, from the fighting men to the trumpeters to the rear guard and the people left behind in the camp, and the walls fell not because of the marching but because of the power of God, who surrounded the enemy as His people moved forward in prayer, worship, and shouting His victory. Even the hard truth of Jericho being “devoted to destruction” shows that God does not desire anyone’s death, but desires to kill sin and evil forever. Jesus took that sentence on Himself so we could be delivered once and for all.

Jesus leads the charge with both authority and presence, so we march to spread the good news before God serves justice!

What are you holding back from God today?

What would it look like to release it and feel the full joy of worship and rest in Him?

What would it look like to be generous with our time, resources, and talents, knowing that He supplies all we need?
