When people trusted in Jesus in Acts 2, they weren't simply saved as individuals—they were added to a community of believers.

God designed the Christian life to be lived in relationship with other followers of Christ. We worship together, learn together, pray together, serve together, and encourage one another in faith.

That's why being connected to a local church matters.

Join us this Sunday, May 31, as we gather to worship God through song, prayer, Scripture, and the preaching of His Word.

This Sunday is a special Family Sunday as we worship together across generations. We will also celebrate baptism and share in Communion, rejoicing in God’s work among His people and remembering Christ’s sacrifice for us.

As we continue our series Acts: The Holy Spirit in Action, Pastor Josh Gribble will preach from Acts 2:40–47 in a message titled “The Spirit Builds Community.”

In this passage, we see how the Holy Spirit forms believers into a thriving church family centered on the gospel, devoted to God’s Word, and committed to serving one another.

We’ve all experienced promises that didn’t hold up—someone says one thing and then pulls it back with a “psych!” or a “just kidding.” It’s funny in middle school, but frustrating when it happens in real life.

In Acts 2, we see something completely different about God. When He makes a promise, He doesn’t take it back. He keeps it. And at Pentecost, we see God fulfilling His promise to send the Holy Spirit.

In this clip from “The Spirit Sends,” Pastor Josh Gribble shows how Acts 2 reveals a God who is faithful, reliable, and true to His Word.

This past Sunday we celebrated Pentecost—the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the Church. That same Spirit is still at work today, bringing comfort, power, and hope.

As a church family, we’d love to stand with you in prayer.

How can we pray for you this week?

Share your request in the comments or send us a message. Our team will be praying over every request.

“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…” (Acts 2:4)

We’re believing the Spirit is still moving. 🙏

Join us this Sunday, May 24, as we gather to worship God through song, prayer, Scripture, and the preaching of His Word.

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, as we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. It is also Graduate Recognition Sunday, where we will honor Marcus Polston and celebrate this important milestone in his life.

As we continue our series Acts: The Holy Spirit in Action, Pastor Josh Gribble will preach from Acts 2:1–21 in a message titled “The Spirit Arrives.”

In this powerful passage, we see God fulfill His promise as the Holy Spirit comes upon the church and empowers believers to proclaim the gospel to the nations.

This past Tuesday, our Ladies Bible Study gathered one last time before summer break for a wonderful morning of fellowship, brunch, and time in God’s Word.

We’re grateful for the encouragement shared, the friendships strengthened, and the way the Lord has worked through this season together.

We’re looking forward to when we meet again—but thankful for all God has done in the meantime. 💛

🙏 How can we pray for you today?

Before Pentecost… before the mission began… the disciples gathered together in prayer.

“You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…” — Acts 1:8
"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication..."— Acts 1:14

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is pause, seek the Lord, and wait on Him together.

Whether you’re asking for guidance, strength, peace, healing, or renewed faith, we would be honored to pray with you.

💬 Share your request in the comments or send us a private message. Our church family will be praying this week.

We’re grateful for this moment of worship as Destiny leads us in “King of Kings.”

“Praise the Father, praise the Son, praise the Spirit—three in one.” These words lift our eyes to the heart of the gospel. From heaven’s throne to a humble manger, from the cross to the empty tomb, Jesus is revealed as the King above every king.

At Haven Fellowship Church, we love helping people see the story of Scripture and find their place in it—and this song beautifully points us back to that story: Christ revealed, Christ crucified, Christ risen, and Christ reigning forever.

May this worship moment encourage your faith and draw your heart again to Jesus, the King of Kings.
