Connersville Living Waters

Connersville Living Waters Love God, Love People, and Serve Others! Join us Sunday mornings at 10:31am You’re not quite sure what to expect and you probably have a lot of questions.

Whether you’ve attended church your entire life or never been at all, we know it’s not easy visiting a church for the first time. We at CLW want to give you the best experience possible. Here’s some information that should help:

When are services? We have services every Sunday at 10:31am. Each service lasts approximately 75 minutes. What should I wear? Whatever you want! We welcome jeans, t-shirt

s, ties, tuxedos… you get the idea. Come as you are. How do I get there? Connersville Living Waters is conveniently located at 380 E. Veteran’s Memorial Dr., Connersville, IN 47331

What happens when I arrive? You will see our friendly greeters with CLW t-shirts and/or CLW badges pointing the way inside. Once inside, you’ll find clearly marked signs directing the way. More greeters will be available to answer any questions, hand you a program and find you the best seat available when you get to the auditorium. While you wait, feel free to enjoy the music, read about upcoming events in the program and complete as much information as you feel comfortable sharing on the Connection Card in your program (which we’ll collect during the service). You may wish to stop by guest services and our book store for free coffee, donuts and some healthy snacks. What’s the service like? First of all, you won’t be pointed out or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. You will have a meaningful, stress-free experience… and you will enjoy the service. Each service is about 75 minutes. The first 15 minutes of the service you’ll get to enjoy some modern worship music led by our Worship Team. We’ll have the words to each song up on the screen, so you can sing as much as you feel comfortable! After a short welcome from one of our pastors, there is often a special song or we’ll simply jump right into the day’s teaching. Each message/sermon is about 30 minutes long and looks at eternal biblical principles and how they apply to your life in very real and practical ways. The first Sunday of every month we celebrate Communion together as a church family. What about my kids? CLW Kidz will be the BEST hour of your kid’s week! All children, from birth to 5th grade, are invited to join us in a fun, interactive environment where our team of trained volunteers create a fun, safe and loving environment. Your child will want to come back every week!

I’m posting this for the community:
On August 7th, Connersville stood together at Living Waters to do something simple: raise a flag and honor the men and women who bled for it. Our Mayor was there. Our School Superintendent was there. Our State Representative was there. Purple Heart recipients stood while a community applauded. We talked that day about sacrifice, about gratitude, about being there for our neighbors and defending what those flags represent.
We had no idea how soon we’d be asked to prove it.
Within days, the Whitewater River rose higher than most of us have ever seen. Families evacuated. Roads gave way. A daycare full of children had to close its doors for their safety. And in that moment, this town didn’t just talk about resolve, it lived it. Neighbors checked on neighbors. Emergency crews worked around the clock. Churches and families opened their doors to those who had nowhere else to go.
That’s the thing about ceremonies like the one we held on August 7th. They’re not just for looking back, they’re rehearsals for what’s coming. We stood at those new flag poles and spoke about courage and community. A week later, Connersville didn’t just remember that speech. It became it.
This is America’s heart, on display in a small Indiana town: when the water rises, we don’t scatter, we show up for each other. That’s what those flags stand for. That’s what we proved.

Most Christians have faith in what God can do.

Fewer have faith in how He feels about them.

One will exhaust you.
The other will hold you when nothing makes sense.

Shadrach Meshach and Abednego said it best.
‘Even if He doesn’t, we still won’t bow.’

That’s not promise-based faith.
That’s love-based faith.

It hits different
