Those who have been affected by the flooding and our first responders are welcome to join us outside Connersville Utilities for a free meal of pork fritters, macaroni & cheese, coleslaw, and dessert from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

FSSA received approval to extend the deadline to request Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program replacement benefits for all 53 counties impacted by the Governor’s disaster emergency for the disaster event on Aug. 11. The deadline for all these counties is now Aug. 31, 2026.

Households that receive SNAP benefits who lost food due to storm damage or power outages may be eligible for replacement benefits. Affected individuals will need to submit an affidavit, available at on.in.gov/SNAP-Affidavit, for replacement benefits. The affidavit must be submitted by the above deadline and the loss (due to power outage, flood, etc.) must be verified.
