Today we’re grateful for the gift of work, for the people who serve, build, teach, care, create, lead, and provide in so many different ways. Whether you’re working today or enjoying a day of rest, take a moment to thank God for the work He has given you and the people He’s placed around you.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people” — Colossians 3:23

The Church Office will be closed today to allow our staff and volunteers time with family and friends.

Someone has been known to say: "The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you discover why you were born." No one can live long and well in this life without having a sense of meaning and purpose.

Having purpose in our life, however, is not static or frozen in time, but dynamic. It is something that will see us through all the ages and stages of our lives. As we explore this theme on this Labor Day weekend, be thinking and reflecting on what your purpose in life is or on what it has been based on how you've lived your life.

What is Real Purpose? Saturday 5:30pm | Sunday 8:00am and 10:30am

This past weekend, Pastor Billy led us into honest and grace-filled conversation about real intimacy. How would your relationships and focus on life change if you truly believed you were already fully known and fully loved by Jesus?

“Because no man was meant to walk alone.” A lot of men are good at carrying things by themselves. We carry the pressure of work. We carry responsibility for our families. We carry questions about our marriages, our kids, our future, and our faith. And sometimes we carry struggles, temptations, disappointments, and failures that very few people know anything about. But God never designed us to follow Jesus alone.

Men ages 19 and older are invited to join Pastor Billy for this 8-week commitment beginning on Monday, October 12th. Band of Brothers, is an opportunity to learn from the men of the 101st Airborne who fought together in WWII. We'll use their story as a launching point for honest conversation about brotherhood, sacrifice, courage, perseverance, and what it means to become the men God is calling you to be. Register and invite a friend to join you at https://www.trinityalive.org/groups

This weekend we continue our "What is Real?" Message Series by asking another important question “What if the thing you're looking to for comfort is actually keeping you from the connection you were created for?” Every one of us longs to be fully known, deeply loved, and truly accepted. Yet we often settle for substitutes that promise intimacy but ultimately leave us feeling more isolated, ashamed, and empty than before.

This weekend we'll have an honest and grace-filled conversation about real intimacy. While we'll specifically address topics like sexual brokenness and po*******hy, this message is ultimately about something much deeper. It's about the longing every one of us has for genuine connection with God and with one another. Our desire is not to shame anyone, but to point people toward the healing, freedom, and identity that can only be found in Jesus. Because of the subject matter, parents may want to know that we'll be speaking more directly than usual while remaining thoughtful and appropriate for students who are worshiping with their families.

Whether you're single or married, young or old, carrying hidden struggles or simply longing for deeper relationships, this message is for you. Join us this weekend, invite a friend, and together let's continue discovering What is Real Intimacy together.
