Just a reminder that tomorrow morning at 9 AM breakfast will be served and Ashley Lehr will give a presentation about her work as a missionary in Puerto Rico.

Missionary Ashley Lehr will visit St. John’s on Sunday, August 23rd at 9:00 am. Ashley serves the Lord through The Lutheran Church—LCMS in Puerto Rico, based in Mayaguez. Our congregation sent a small group to Puerto Rico in January of this year. Ashley would like to visit and present about the work in Puerto Rico. On Sunday, August 23rd we will have a breakfast served in the church basement. Everyone welcome!

Thanks to those you helped with the removal of the landscape rock from around the church and relocating it around the daycare area. With the use of three skid loaders and a mini excavator the work was done with minimal “perspiration”.

Also thanks for all those who helped clean up the play yard for the day care and getting the rubber mulch in place. Thanks to the family that donated the mulch it will be a great blessing for the little ones.

Please continue to support our congregation with your prayers, time and talents as we move forward with our sanctuary expansion. To God be the Glory.
