Knights of Columbus Council 2294 gathered last night at the Our Lady of Grace Grotto at St. Peter Catholic Church to pray the Rosary with Chaplain Fr. Augustine Joseph. Parishioners from Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Saint Peter joined us as we placed written intentions before Our Lady—over 40 prayer warriors united in prayer, plus many intentions from those unable to attend. We ended the evening singing Immaculate Mary, entrusting all our needs to our Blessed Mother.

Knights Honor Overmeyers as Family of the Quarter ✨

On April 15 at St. Mary’s Chapel in Wrightsville, Council 2294 recognized George and Pamela Overmeyer of St. Peter Catholic Church as our Family of the Quarter for Spring 2026.

George and Pam are lifelong members of St. Peter’s and will celebrate 50 years of marriage this June. 💛

George taught high‑school wood shop and drafting for 35 years, while Pam built a career in banking and mortgage lending before retiring from Fairway Mortgage.

In retirement, they’ve become deeply involved in parish life. George serves as an Extraordinary Minister, Inside Guard and Home Association Secretary, and volunteers at both the St. Peter’s Fish Fry and Holy Holy Trinity’s Fastnacht Bake. Pam also serves as an Extraordinary Minister, assists with collection counting and bereavement luncheons and also volunteers at both parishes' Lenten fundraisers.

They are the proud parents of Elizabeth (Michael Riedel) and Victoria (Alston Woods), and grandparents of Gavin and Glenn.

George and Pam embody the spirit of faith, family and service. Council 2294 is honored to recognize their joyful witness. ✝️
