Columbia Church

Columbia Church The Columbia United Methodist Church was formed by the consolidation of three United Methodist Churches at Fifth and Walnut Streets in 1992.

Columbia Church exists to connect people to Christ and each other by growing in our faith, and by making disciples of Christ for the transformation of our community. First United Methodist Church at Second and Cherry Streets, the earliest Church, began in 1803; Salome United Brethren began in 1860; Cookman United Methodist at Sixth and Chestnut began in 1876. Grubbs. There is currently one service on Sunday at 10 am. CUMC is fully handicapped accessible including an elevator to access the basement, fellowship hall, kitchen and classrooms. While there are a variety of differing forecasts and many show more accumulation after noon, most agree precipitation now begins at midnight and includes freezing rain.
