CALL TO ACTION: Contact your PA State Legislators !

This week, the Pennsylvania House Education Committee advanced House Bill 2632 - which will now move onto the House floor.

House Bill 2632 will terminate Pennsylvania's current educational tax credit authority, the EITC/OSTC Programs that many Catholic schools depend on for student financial aid.

Both Our Lady of the Angels School in Columbia and Lancaster Catholic High School use EITC/OSTC Programs to help local families afford a Catholic Education for their children.

What is at stake:
• Roughly $102 million cut from K-12 scholarship funding
• About 30,000 current scholarships put at risk
• Elimination of the Economically Disadvantaged Schools program

The Pennsylvania Catholic Conference has set up ready-to-send, fully editable letters that you can send to your PA State Representative and Senator. It takes less than a minute - but can make a big impact.
