"The Father had given all authority to the Son. He was now king, he was now head over his people, or he would be very soon. And the apostles were therefore to go and teach all nations. He's been given authority over his house, as he says in Matthew twenty eight eighteen.
And we bring that to Hebrews chapter 3, verse 6. Christ is the Son over his own house. He has been given all power and authority in heaven and in earth, and certainly in the church. Now, as we described earlier, if Christ built the house, does he not get to lay the design out for it? But also if Christ, he not only built it, he owns it.
If Christ owns it, whose name should be on it? If Christ built the house, should it be named after Calvin? Should it be named after Luther? Should it be named anything else besides Christ himself?"
