This year has truly flown by! Even though we started the year as strangers, we quickly became one very special preschool family. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to watch this wonderful group of little kids grow into even more amazing big kids throughout the year.🩵

On Tuesday, we celebrated our end of the year with certificates, special pillows made by the quilt club, and an ice cream party.🍦During our final week together, we caught and bounced magical bubbles, painted, played with playdough, spent time outside, and enjoyed all of our favorite activities together one last time.

It has been such a joy to watch these little hearts grow not only in learning, but also in kindness, friendship, and love. I pray God continues to guide, protect, and bless each of these sweet children as they move on to their next adventure.

Thank you to all of the families for sharing your incredible children with me this year. It has truly been such a special year full of laughter, growth, learning, and love.🩵

Good morning from Trinity Lutheran Church in Coleman

No matter what this Monday brings, God’s mercies are new every morning and His grace goes before us. Take a moment today to breathe, pray, and look for the blessings around you.

This week we went camping! We enjoyed eating our snacks around the campfire they helped make and even made our own mini s’mores. The children loved roasting pretend marshmallows and hotdogs while using their imaginations during campfire play.

We also built a blanket tent where we enjoyed snack time together like real campers! 🏕️ One of our favorite crafts was using straws to blow paint and create colorful campfire flames, and the children also added a special touch by placing a picture of themselves inside their tents.

The children even packed their own “backpacks” as they got ready to head out on adventures as God’s Happy Campers.🩵

We had such a wonderful time on our field trip to the Green Bay Botanical Gardens! 🌿🌸

We enjoyed a guided tour where we explored the garden using our five senses. The kids loved the adventure and were such great listeners! We were able to touch a variety of plants, smell some amazing scents, hear the birds singing, and see so many beautiful flowers and plants. We are so thankful for God’s beautiful creation all around us.

While we didn’t taste any flowers, we sure enjoyed our delicious picnic lunch together! 🧺 and was able to end our trip playing at the park!

Also a big thanks to Mr. Rick for the bus ride, and for all the parents who were able to chaperone and share this beautiful day with us. 💛

This week in preschool, we explored bugs!

The children loved creating their own bugs using different shapes, letting their creativity shine. We also made fingerprint bugs in jars, which were a big hit. 🐜🪲🐞

Inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar, we created the life cycle of a butterfly—caterpillar, cocoon, and butterfly. 🐛🦋

We even found a worm not once, but twice this week! 🪱

But nothing makes my heart happier than seeing the children remember parts of our Bible stories. This week, when asked about our story, they proudly shared, “Let the little children come to me.” 💛

What a wonderful week in preschool as we learned all about flowers and gardens!🌻🌱We planted sunflowers and grass, explored the parts of a flower, and even met a little friend who enjoys eating things that grow in the garden 🐇 and of course we loved our new dramatic play center being an ice cream shop🍦

We were also blessed with beautiful weather and enjoyed time outside with picnic snacks and stories together.💛

Our preschoolers sang in church for the very first time on Sunday, and they did AMAZING! ✨

Watching them stand up there with confidence and joy filled our hearts. They sang “This Little Light of Mine” so beautifully, reminding us all to let our light shine for Jesus. 💛
