Dear Friends, it breaks my heart to tell you that my high school friend Paula Presnell left this life last weekend when she died in an auto accident in Glen Rose, Texas. Most of these pictures (except the one where Paula is snuggling with this kitty quilt made by Carol Lewis and from Paula's beloved little church on this distant Bluff) were taken when Pastor Helen reunited with Paula, Margaret Forbes, and three of our teacher/sponsors from Connell Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Paula is the one with the long, straight, blonde hair. Paula joined our church (long distance on our cell phones) on June 2, 2019. Then on March 25, 2021, Paula called with a desire to confess the Lordship of Christ again. Paula wanted to be sure that she was saved for certain and would have a home in heaven! She was never able to worship under the same roof with us, but she worshiped regularly via email and prayed with and for us. She was part of our family and will continue to be one of us, despite our tears. Please pray for Paula's daughter Summer, and for the other families and friends who are mourning the loss of Paula on this plain. In Jesus's name! 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

Worship will be at 10 a.m. this morning in the Church Community Center/Old Schoolhouse! It's Communion Sunday, and we'd love to see you there. All are welcome at God's table! All the time!

And we look forward to showing you the work being done in the backyard of the school, where we'll be planting our Jerusalem Cross-shaped Cathedral Garden. Let us know if you'd like to help with this community project.
