08 24 2026 God’s Grace saves us from Hell
Many people think that God is very stern and that He delights in knocking someone down and sending them to hell. But that is NOT the God of the Holy Bible. First of all, we see in 2nd Peter 3:9, that God is not willing that ANY should perish. In that verse alone we see that God must be a God of love. He doesn’t want anyone to go to hell and thats why he made a way so that man could be be saved. The provision that God made is called substitution, Jesus Christ who was and is totally sinless went to the cross of Calvary, where God placed the sins of mankind on Him. He was our substitute. He died for us so we wouldn’t to, we have only to believe that what He has done is all that is necessary for our salvation.
God’s work on our behalf is grace manifested and His grace never stops, not only does it give Eternal Life it also provides for us in our daily life. There had to be someone who was qualified to be our substitute. He had to be born of a virgin so that He would have none of man’s original sin, although He is God He had to take on human flesh. Christ had no human father, His father was the Holy Spirit and thus He was completely sinless! It also tells us in Psalm 40:8, that our Saviour delighted to lay His life down so we could be saved, He wasn’t forced, He did it willfully as John 10:14-18 tells us.
Every aspect of salvation is grace. Grace is better than mercy, when a judge reduces the sentence for a condemned criminal, he shows mercy but grace acquits the guilty sinner and imputes righteousness to them.
Put your trust in Him today.
