Yesterday, we continued through the Psalms with Psalm 121- a reminder that wherever the road takes us, our help comes from the Lord.

Life’s journey isn’t always easy. We face uncertainty, suffering, and moments when God can feel distant. But Psalm 121 reminds us that He is our Keeper, present and faithful through it all.

Through the story of the Good Samaritan, we were also reminded that God often works through His people. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, showing radical compassion and putting our faith into action.

“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” -Psalm 121:8

The Garden Project is about more than renovating a building. It’s about stewarding a legacy and preparing this space to serve our church and our city for generations to come.

For nearly 100 years, this building has stood in the heart of downtown Coeur d’Alene- a witness to God’s faithfulness and a place where people can gather, be formed, and learn to live with and for God.

Because we own the building outright, our desire is to complete this project without taking on any debt. Phase One is a $900,000 investment in restoring and renewing this historic space, and we are currently $400,000 away from being able to fund it entirely in cash.

This is an opportunity for us, as a church, to faithfully steward what God has placed in our hands.

We are so excited to announce our new Youth Pastor, Tyler Cockrum!

For the past 6 months, Tyler has been serving as our Pastor of Worship, NextGen, and Prayer.
During summer camp, he felt the Lord leading him to step into this role, and he couldn’t be more suited for it!

We are expectant for all God has in store for our Student Ministries in this next season!

Yesterday we had a Student Ministry takeover. Such a cool experience having them lead us in worship! A good kickoff to our sermon in Psalm 90!

We were reminded that our days are limited, but a life lived with Jesus is never wasted. Psalm 90 invites us to number our days, seek God’s presence, find our satisfaction in Him, and trust Him to establish the work of our hands.

May we not just attend church, but truly live with Jesus- making His presence the foundation of everything we do.

This Sunday, Chris walked us through Psalm 84 and what it means to live with the heart of a pilgrim, choosing God’s presence over comfort, convenience, or personal gain.

Even when the journey takes us through the “Valley of Baca” - the valleys of weeping and hardship - we don’t have to stay stuck there. In His presence, even the valley can become a place of springs.

Following Jesus is a journey of long obedience in the same direction, finding strength day by day as we continue moving toward Him.

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.” - Psalm 84:10

May we be people who don’t just seek what God can give us, but deeply desire to be where He is.
