“God gave the prophecy of Daniel 11 to a people who were delivered yet living before the appointed end so they would understand where they stood and endure faithfully until it came. It was given to produce resolve; and not a resolve arising from their own strength, but one sustained by the faithfulness of God. We can’t find that kind of resolve by looking within ourselves but by looking to the one who is faithful—Jesus—who will sustain us to the end.”
