For the month of May we want to emphasize, "Love them Both". The mom in a crisis pregnancy and the baby she is carrying. We have baby bottles at the church and want each one to be taken home and prayed over and returned with at least $28 inside, to pay for one ultrasound. 3 out of 4 Moms that have an ultrasound and hear their babies heartbeat will ultimately choose life. We will be prayerfully be collecting them through Memorial Day until May 31st. If you write a check for your bottle, make it out to the church and put PreBorn in the memo.
If you can't get a bottle and still want to help here's some options:
1) Go to PreBorn.com, or scan the QR code, click on the donate tab, and make a one time donation of $28.
2) Visit prolifelouisiana.org for local events and information.
3) Drop off a donation to the church office.
4) Most importantly, Pray for those who are in a crisis pregnancy to know there are other options and help us to provide those resources to them.

Grace day is this Sunday May 3rd. We will have regular schedule Sunday School and Morning Worship. Please come to worship even if you can't help with Grace day. After Worship we will have a light lunch available for all Grace day workers. If you haven't signed up for a project yet please consider the following, which are all family friendly, and available to your entire family. Contact Alice Chase, David Gainous, or the Team Leader listed below and let us know where you can serve!!

1) War Vets Home in Jackson, LA- Team Leader Lisa Shaffer

Visit with the men and women residing there, play bingo, and enjoy conversations and their company.

2) Grace Nursing Home- Team Leader Charlene Smith

Visit the residents of Grace, paint the ladies fingernails, visit and talk with the men.

3) The Dorcas Store- Team Leader Faith Gainous

A ministry that provides clothing, toys, baby supplies, and other items needed by our community members. Organize and straighten inventory and pray for needs to be met.

4) Sr. Adult Ladies- Fish Fry- Team Lead- Our deacons.

Invite a friend to come and fellowship and enjoy a great meal. The deacons will be glad to provide transportation to anyone that needs it.

5) Youth Car Wash-Team Leader Jared Shaffer

Bring your car and visit with our youth as they clean up the bugs off of your car.

6) Small Outdoor projects- We have a couple of homes of our elderly members that need some trimming, w**d eating, and sprucing up. Bring your equipment and change of clothes and we will direct you to the right spot.

What an incredible time at our Armor Up Adventure! 🛡️⚔️

From good burgers to tough battles, our kids had a blast while learning how to put on the Armor of God and stand strong in their faith. We’re so thankful for every child, volunteer, and family who made this event so special. 💛

There’s nothing better than food, fellowship, and a little friendly competition!
Our Deacon’s BBQ was filled with laughter, connection, and an epic Family Feud game between staff, senior adults, students, and deacons. Thank you to our deacons for leading the way and to everyone who came out and joined us!
