Before God brings judgment, He reveals mercy.

The story of Scripture shows us that God is not eager to destroy, but patient to save. His justice is real, but so is His mercy—and mercy comes first.

Join us as we continue through the Gospel of Matthew.

Matthew opens his Gospel by showing us that Jesus is the promised King — not only for Israel, but for the nations.

05/27/2026

Sunday, we began our study through the Gospel of Matthew.

After spending nearly two years walking through Exodus, we now turn to the Gospel that opens the New Testament by declaring that Jesus is the promised King, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham, and the fulfillment of God’s covenant promises.

Matthew does not begin with random names or dry history. He begins with the story of God’s faithfulness — a story marked by promise, failure, mercy, exile, hope, and ultimately Christ.

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we continue Matthew together and see how the story of Israel, the promises of God, and the hope of the nations all find their fulfillment in Jesus.

Jesus is not after a corner of your life. He comes to reclaim the throne of your heart.

The purpose of redemption is covenant fellowship with God, in His presence. Don't settle for less.

After 22 months of journeying through Exodus, we've reached the breathtaking finale! This Sunday, we witnessed the answer to the central question that has echoed throughout our entire study: Can a holy God dwell with sinful people?

The tabernacle was finally assembled on Israel's New Year's Day—a powerful symbol of new creation and restored covenant. And then it happened: "The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle." God's presence became the visible reality among His people. Yet even Moses couldn't enter while God's glory filled that space, revealing our desperate need for something—Someone—better.

That Someone is Jesus. He didn't just build a tabernacle; He became the tabernacle, dwelling among us. And through His finished work on the cross, we've become God's dwelling place. The church isn't just a building—we are living stones built into a spiritual house where God's Spirit resides.

God's presence has always been the point of redemption. Don't settle for anything less than dwelling in His presence today and for all eternity.
