Capital punishment--the ex*****on of murderers, among other criminals--is a hot topic in our culture. Christians and non-Christians fall on both sides of the issue. What does the Bible say about it? What are the arguments against it? Can it be justly done in our current judicial system? We consider these questions in our morning message.

Have you ever saw a person suffering calamity and thought, "It's not my problem"? Or worse, "Couldn't happen to a nicer person"? In the Old Testament book of Obadiah, the people of Edom reacted to the destruction of Jerusalem with disinterest, disdain, and even delight. God had some harsh words for their apathy toward their brothers. What would He say to us?

War has been a part of life for most of human history. At present more than a dozen armed conflicts rage around the globe. But is it ever justified? What should the Christian's attitude and actions be concerning war? This morning we look at what the Bible says (and doesn't say) about the justification of military action.

Tonight we had a Fifth Sunday service. There are no files available.

This morning we consider the topic of euthanasia, meaning "good death," and its manifestations today. Many countries have legalized active euthanasia while many US states have legalized some form of assisted su***de. We look at the human attraction to it, the holy arguments against it, and a humane alternative to euthanasia.

Tonight we consider our study of the Old Testament prophet Obadiah and his message against Edom. Like those who thought the Titanic was unsinkable, the Edomites thought their land was invincible. They trusted in their wisdom, their warriors, and their wealth to stay on top. If that sounds vaguely familiar, this message is for you.

A key question in the debate over abortion is when does life begin? This morning we look at both biology and the Bible for answers to this, drawing conclusions about abortion from a Christian perspective.

Obadiah may be the most obscure book of the Old Testament. Tonight we begin a study on this tiny prophecy regarding the nation of Edom and its founding father, Esau.
