This Sunday, there’s a seat waiting for you.

Whether your week has been full of joy, questions, challenges, or simply the ordinary rhythms of life, we invite you to gather with us for worship at 10:30 a.m.

As we reflect on the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we’ll consider what it means to remain faithful when the path isn’t easy and finding the courage to say, “Even if…” and trust God in every circumstance.

Come as you are. Bring your hopes, your burdens, your curiosity, and your whole self. Together we’ll be reminded that none of us walks this journey alone.

Today we give heartfelt thanks for Kristen Hoyt and the many ways she shares her gifts with the life of CPC.

Kristen has been part of the CPC family her entire life, and her love for this church shines through in all she does. As an elementary school teacher, she has such a special gift for connecting with children and youth, and our church has been blessed by her care, patience, creativity, and joyful spirit for so many years.

From serving as our longtime VBS coordinator, to teaching Sunday School, helping with youth group, serving on the Christian Education Committee, and working alongside Melissa to lead our wonderful Christmas programs for children and youth — Kristen is always stepping up wherever she is needed. If there is a way to support the children and youth of CPC, Kristen is there with a willing heart and a joyful spirit.

Thank you, Kristen, for your faithful servant heart, your endless energy, and the love you pour into the children, youth, and families of this church. CPC is better because of you!

It takes all of us to make CPC the warm, welcoming church family that it is.

Each month, we’ll be highlighting one of the incredible volunteers who help CPC run so well behind the scenes and beyond. We can’t wait to celebrate the faithful hearts who serve with joy and make ministry happen every single week. 🧡

On this Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude and reverence to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. For many in our church family, this day is not only a national holiday, but a deeply personal remembrance of friends, loved ones, classmates, spouses, siblings, and fellow service members who never came home.

We honor their courage and their sacrifice and honor the families who carried both pride and grief through the years. We also hold close in prayer our veterans who carry memories of those they served beside.

May we never take lightly the cost of peace and freedom. And may we, as people of faith, continue to be a community of remembrance, compassion, and hope.

Join us this Sunday at Clinton Presbyterian Church for a warm and welcoming morning of worship, fellowship, and encouragement. As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we invite everyone to wear red as we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit and the fire that continues to move through the Church today.

We are grateful to welcome guest speaker Bob Marsh, who will bring the message, “Gideon: Go in the Strength You Have” from Judges 6:11–16 — a powerful reminder that God meets us where we are and calls us forward with courage and grace.

Whether you’ve been attending for years or are looking for a place to belong, you are welcome here.

This verse reminds us that our hope is not built on circumstances but on the living presence of God. When life feels uncertain, when prayers seem unanswered, and when the road ahead is unclear, we can still say with confidence, “I know that my Redeemer lives.”

Because Christ lives, despair never has the final word. Grief is not the end of the story. Brokenness can be redeemed. And one day, God will make all things new.

Whatever you are carrying today, hold fast to this enduring promise: your Redeemer lives, and He is standing with you even now.
