Some people don't just join a church community, they help hold it together. Debbie Maxwell is one of those people.

Debbie and her husband Pete are longtime members who, though life took them away for a season, found their way back and jumped right in as though they had never left. As co-chair of Christian Education, Debbie helps shape how our congregation learns and grows. She steps into Sunday teaching whenever there is a need, lends her voice to the choir and has a special gift for delivering the children's sermon. She is simply the kind of person who shows up wherever she is needed, faithfully and without being asked twice.

We are fortunate beyond measure that Debbie and Pete returned to our area and to our church. Thank you, Debbie, for your faithful heart and servant spirit. We are so blessed to have you.🧡

As we share this, we also want to say how much we appreciate the many people who help make CPC what it is. This church truly is a village. In the months ahead, we will be lifting up more of the folks who give their time, care, and gifts in ways big and small. Whether your work is seen or quiet, regular or behind the scenes, please know you matter to us. We see you, we are thankful for you, and we are better because of all of you.

Follow Along with Pastor Paul: Where’s Jesus Today?

Pastor Paul is away on sabbatical, but we’d love for you to follow along on his travels. As a fun reminder that Jesus is with us wherever we go, we’ll be sharing posts this month featuring one of the Flat Jesus creations created by members of our church family.

What happens when the worst of sinners meets the grace of God?

This Sunday, we’ll hear the story of Paul. It’s a reminder that no one is beyond God’s reach, redemption, or purpose.

Join us Sunday at 10:30 AM as we explore “The Apostle Paul: The Worst of Sinners.”

And just like Paul, you don’t have to have it all together. There’s a place for you at CPC. All are welcome.
