🔥 I HAVE SOME OIL! 🔥

What a powerful Sunday at New Harvest Church!

Yesterday, Pastor Chuck reminded us through 2 Kings 4:1–7 that the widow may not have had much, but she had something in the house — a little oil. And when that oil was surrendered to God, it became more than enough.

The same is true for us today.

Because of Jesus, we are no longer defined by the fall of the first Adam. We have been made alive through the Last Adam — Jesus Christ! We have received an abundance of grace, the gift of righteousness, and the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

🫗 You may feel empty, but there’s still oil in the house.
🫗 You may feel like you don’t have enough, but God can multiply what you surrender.
🫗 You may be facing impossible circumstances, but the Spirit of God lives within you.

Galatians 2:20 says, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”

That changes everything.

We don’t live from our own strength.
We don’t live from our past.
We don’t live under condemnation.
We live from Christ within us!

Whatever you’re facing this week, remember:

🔥 MY MOMENTUM IS SHIFTING! 🔥

Yesterday at New Harvest Church, Pastor Chuck reminded us that what has had momentum in our past does not have to determine the direction of our future.

You may have inherited a history, but you don’t have to inherit its momentum.

Joseph named one son Manasseh — “God has made me forget all my trouble…” — and the other Ephraim — “God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.” What tried to define you doesn’t get the final word. God can break the momentum of yesterday and bring fruitfulness out of the very place that caused you pain.

Pastor Chuck gave us 3 practical movements for shifting momentum:

1️⃣ Change the Narrative — Stop allowing your past, failures, limitations, or the words of others to define who you are.

2️⃣ Change Your Position — Sometimes the shift begins when you refuse to remain where you’ve always been.

3️⃣ Change Your Environment — What you continually surround yourself with will either reinforce old momentum or help create new momentum.

Momentum is powerful—but momentum is NOT destiny!

“For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.” — Psalm 18:29

Whatever has been moving in the wrong direction—the direction can change. The cycle can break. The narrative can change.
