I am so saddened by the loss of my 40+ year friend Rocky Bratcher. Our friendship started at US Sugar but God had another plan. Rocky and Susan served as the Pastors of Cross Training for over 10 years and has been a major influence to so many people. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have had him by my side. His passion to lead people to Christ and to always encourage the men in the program to allow God to work in their lives has made such an impact. Since the day I met Rocky, he has been a mentor to me, and I have been blessed to have known him. Susan, thank you for sharing Rocky with us. Thank you both for loving the men in the program and for your dedication to the Ministry. So many memories, laughter, good times and hard times. But through it all, your faith and trust in God was always at the center and made a difference!! Rocky, you will be greatly missed.

Had a great time celebrating July 4th! 🇺🇸 Nothing better than freedom, fellowship, and fireworks 🧨 The men celebrated not only the freedoms in America, but also their freedom from their addiction that they have found through Christ! ✝️

 Saturday, June 7th, at US Sugar’s Dunwoody Lodge, it was payday for the CTM staff, as we graduated Gavin Henderson.  It’s very exciting to see how God has worked in Gavin‘s life.
II Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” God not only changes the man in the program, but he also restores their relationships with their family. Gavin came into the program a broken young man, having destroyed his life and his relationship with his family. But God! Gavin is a new man, and the relationship with his family has been restored!

God is good! We are excited about what is happening on our property. After a tornado during Hurricane Milton destroyed our housing, the damaged dorm and staff house have been removed, the property has been cleaned up and now the new staff house is complete! Adam Owens, our Program Director, his wife Jennifer, and their family have moved in!
We are waiting on our final plans for the brick and mortar dorm that will be built, hopefully very soon!!

On October 8, 2024, a tornado tore through our Cross Training Ministries property near Clewiston, destroying several trailers where our young men and staff live while working to overcome addiction and grow in their faith.

We remain committed to our mission of helping men ages 18-24 find freedom from addiction through a relationship with Christ, but we need your help to rebuild.

CTM UPDATE!
We can’t begin to say Thank You enough for all the support we have received over the past couple days. We have an abundance of personal hygiene products, paper goods, canned foods, etc. and are so grateful.
Thank you to Sheriff Steve Whidden for his immediate response day of in providing a safe place as well as lunch and dinner. He made sure they had a place to sleep and blankets to use! Thank you to US Sugar for swiftly arranging to get the men in the old Dunwoody building, as our temporary dorm. Ken McDuffie has been incredible! It was so important to get the men back in a structured environment, and within 4 days, thanks to US Sugar, the men are in this place. They are able to be ministered to in a safe environment once again.
Thank you to so many who have also donated meals, Joe Roth, Lee Sweet, Trip Whidden and the Cattlemen’s Association, Theresa Carr, Jimmy and Paula Pittman, and The Country Club, trust me…. these men are eating well! 😝
Many have asked what we need…. As we are working towards getting a more permanent structure onsite, monetary donations are the best donation, as it frees up the ability to purchase day to day needs as they come up. Our space is limited and therefore large items and excessive amounts of food are rather hard to store.

As many of you know, our property was severely damaged by a tornado during Hurricane Milton and the men’s dorm and the staff house were destroyed. Thank God the men were not in the trailer and are safe. Thank you Steve Whidden for allowing us to use the gun range as a shelter. And thank you US Sugar for setting up a temporary dormitory for the men, it truly takes a village…. We are very blessed by so many reaching out to help, and are asking what is in need. We are raising money for our new dorm and the many needs that come with it.
