We often focus on producing better fruit, trying harder, and becoming better people. But the Bible points us to something even greater: the righteousness of God.

When we stop trusting in ourselves and start relying on God's Word and His promises, we find the only hope that never fails. Don't put your confidence in your effort. Put your confidence in Christ.

"The righteous shall live by faith." ✝️

[Faith Begins When You Stop Trusting What You See]
One of the greatest spiritual traps is believing that your eyes and emotions tell you the truth. When life gets difficult, when circumstances look impossible, when your heart feels heavy — everything inside you insists, “This is reality.”

But Scripture teaches something radically different.

People in the last days, Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:1–7, will be lovers of themselves, guided by their own thoughts and feelings. They will trust what they see instead of what God says. And that is exactly why they cannot hear truth.

This is the same pattern we see in Martha and Mary.
They spoke faith, but when Lazarus died, they believed their eyes more than Jesus’s promise.
Their words were spiritual, but their hearts were still controlled by sight.

Faith is not saying the right things.
Faith is living according to God’s Word when everything you see contradicts it.

Your emotions are loud.
Your circumstances look real.
Your diagnosis feels final.
Your challenges seem overwhelming.

But none of these are the truth.

The Bible is the truth.

True faith is refusing to let your feelings define reality.
True faith is choosing God’s Word over your own understanding.
True faith is not just knowing the promise — it is acting on it.

That is why Jesus says healing, peace, and restoration come from Him, not from human effort (Isaiah 53:5).
That is why believers prepare, move, and live according to God’s promises, not according to visible circumstances.

Faith is practical.
Faith is active.
Faith is lived.

The core of faith is this:

Do not trust what you see.
Do not trust what you feel.
Trust what God says — and live like it is true.

This week, ask yourself:

“Am I living by what I see, or by what God says?”

Your spiritual life changes the moment your actions begin to match His Word.

[When I saw my son covering his ears, my world collapsed.]
My name is Eric Choi. I am a pastor, a director of a non-profit organization, and most importantly, a father. I am blessed with two wonderful boys—my eldest, who is the smartest boy in the world, and my second, who shines brighter than the sun.

My eldest son has the most beautiful smile you could ever imagine. When he turned one, he began avoiding eye contact and smiling shyly, which I simply thought was adorable. Even when doctors expressed their concerns, it didn't really hit me.

But when he turned two, everything changed. We were at a playground, and in the middle of all the children running and playing, I saw my son standing completely still, covering his ears. In that moment, my entire world collapsed. I came home that day and wept uncontrollably.

Yet today, I have come to learn what the Bible truly says about my son. I realized that the despair didn't come from my son, but from my own eyes—eyes that viewed the brightest child in the world as flawed.

Everyone in this world carries their own struggles. We often assume that’s just how life is and try our best to push through. But what truly matters is not how we see our situation, but what the Bible says about it.

I would love to share more of my story with you. I will be waiting for you, and I pray that you come and discover the unwavering hope you may have never seen before.

Are You Sure What You Believe Is Actually True?
One of the biggest spiritual dangers is thinking you “already know.”
When you assume you understand something, you stop listening — and your heart closes.

But Scripture confronts our assumptions head‑on.

Romans 3:23 says clearly:
You are a sinner.

And the very next verse, Romans 3:24 says just as clearly:
You are righteous.

Your feelings say, “I sinned, so I must be a sinner.”
But your feelings are not the truth.
The Bible is the truth.

This is where many people get stuck.

The hardship you see,
the darkness around you,
the discouragement you feel —
they look like facts.
They feel like reality.
But according to Scripture, they are not the final truth.

The real problem is this:

We treat what is not true as if it is true.
And we treat what is true — God’s Word — as optional.

That is spiritually abnormal.

The most practical, life‑changing shift you can make is this:

What you see is not the truth.

What you feel is not the truth.

What God says is the truth.

When you accept your emotions as reality, your whole life becomes unstable.
But when you accept God’s Word as reality, your whole life begins to stand on solid ground.

This week, ask yourself:
“Do I believe what I see, or do I believe what God says?”

Your heart becomes healthy — normal — when Scripture becomes your definition of truth.
