Yesterday we had such a great time with our church family! 🫂🤍

We began with worship and continued with our Hymnody series, before breaking off into a time of food and fellowship. The weather was perfect for the occasion and we were able to enjoy our outdoor activities with a cool breeze by the lake.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help set up tables, chairs, and for providing food to share!

Tomorrow is the day! Join us at Waterfront Park @ 10:45AM for a special combined worship service at the park! Afterward we’ll stick around for a church family lunch filled with food, games, and fellowship.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, a side dish, and a friend!

Next week, on October 25th, we will NOT be having service at the Living Message church. If you show up for service at our usual location, we will not be there!

Join us at the Waterfront Park pavilion for a family fun day @ 10:45AM. There will only be 1 service, no 9AM service time. There will be worship and a message given prior to food being served.

If you plan to attend, please sign up on the Church Center app so we can prepare for the expected attendance. We ask that every family brings one side dish to share. We will take care of the main course, fried chicken! 🍗

Since we will be at the park, we also suggest bringing a blanket, some lawn chairs, or any games you enjoy to play with your church family. 🫂

Send this to someone you want to bring to family fun day next week!

Compassion “feels bad” for someone, but mercy takes action. To be the hands and feet of Christ we are called to have mercy, to take action on the needs we see in front of us when we have the power to help, not just to have compassion toward those that are hurting.

“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”
‭‭James‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Everyone walks in with a story. Some days it’s joy, some days it’s heartbreak, and most days it’s somewhere in between.

Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone. 🤍

Who do you think works the hardest on Sunday mornings? 👀🤣

In all seriousness, we are very thankful for every service team who dedicates themselves to making the Living Message a welcoming place. Whether you are a greeter, a worship team member, on the cleaning team, or work in the children’s ministry, we couldn’t do this without you!
Every person plays a crucial role in our services running smoothly! 🤍

The church was meant to be a family that does life together. Through the highs and lows, we are here to support you, encourage you, and uplift you in times of despair or heartache.
