Every message is designed "to inspire you to follow Jesus". Rusty, our pastor, speaks with creativity and personal application that helps you know Jesus as your personal Savior, and grow in your faith. WHAT TO WEAR
We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. At The River you will see people dressed comfortably. We care

about you, not what you wear to church. WHO WE ARE
We are a small town, non-denominational church. Our doors are open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We would love to be your community of Christian friendship. NURSERY, PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN
We provide an excellent nursery. Preschool and Kindergarten meet together during the Sunday service. RIVER KIDS
River Kids (1st-6th) dismiss after the music. We are committed to teaching our kids how to know and follow Jesus. RIVER YOUTH
River Youth (7th-12th) meet on Wednesdays. River Youth takes a break from meeting in June and July. River Youth does provide a week long summer camp with services for youth, Bible studies, small groups and fun activities. ADULT GROUPS
No matter how old you are, there is a group for you at The River. Adults can meet people and grow spiritually in River Groups. Contact us for a list of our Adult Groups (coed or men/women) to find when they meet. Some groups meet weekly, and other groups meet once a month.

Whether you're brand new to The River or you've been attending for a while, we'd love for you to join us.

This Sunday we’re talking about “The Wrong People.”

Which honestly sounds like the title of a reality show… or a church argument.

Acts 21-22 is wild:

Paul gets warned not to go to Jerusalem
a prophet ties himself up with Paul’s belt
the city loses its mind
and somehow it all centers around this question:
Who gets included?

Because Jesus kept doing something religious people hated:
He kept moving toward the people everybody else side-eyed.

The wrong women.
The wrong crowd.
The wrong preacher.
The wrong group.

And somewhere in the middle of all that… we realize:
Jesus chose us too.

Come hang out Sunday at The River.
No perfect people required.

Hey River Family,

I’m excited to introduce Amanda Harris, our new Preschool Director!

She’ll be leading and supporting our Preschool and Nursery environments, helping create a safe, fun, and meaningful place for our youngest kids to begin learning about Jesus.

This is a very limited, part-time role—just a few hours each week—focused on guiding and supporting our teams.

What She’ll Do
Support and organize our Preschool and Nursery teams
Encourage and coordinate volunteers
Help create a safe, welcoming environment
Partner with parents
Volunteer-Driven
This ministry runs on volunteers, and Amanda’s role is to equip and support the team, not replace it.

If you see Amanda, make sure to welcome and encourage her.

And if you’ve ever thought about serving with kids—this is a great time to jump in.
