Tailgate Update!

We’re keeping the Tailgate at The River this Sunday.
The city had some extra requirements we didn’t know to ask about, and since it’s the week of, we felt it was simpler and easier to host it at The River (not the park).

👉 Tailgate Service – 11 AM (outside)
👉 Tailgate Party – 12 PM (outside)

Bring your own lawn chairs to enjoy the service. Kids can enjoy the inflatables.

Browse multiple tents for the best barbecue, hamburgers and assortment of tailgate food.

Everyone in the community is invited!

BIG thanks to Josiah! 👏👏

We want to give a huge shoutout to Josiah for the incredible job he’s done leading our youth ministry these past few years. He started out as a faithful volunteer, and then stepped in as our Wednesday night youth leader—bringing energy, care, and consistency to our teens every week. We’re so grateful for the way he’s invested in our students and helped point them toward Jesus.

Josiah has recently accepted a teaching position at the high school (congrats, Josiah!), and while we’re excited for him, it also means he won’t be able to continue in his youth role with us this year.

With a few other leaders also stepping away, we are currently without anyone to lead our youth ministry on Wednesday nights. So here’s what we’re doing:

✅ We’re working to build a parent team to support youth nights
✅ We’re looking for someone who might feel called to step into a weekly leadership role—possibly as a paid part-time position
✅ It would involve just two hours on Wednesday nights (6–8pm)

River Youth meets each Wednesday evening! Would you be willing to provide a simple meal? It could be anything; tacos, hot dogs, nachos, pizza (you pick!).
