Week of May 31, 2026 Morning Prayer for Life-Changing Power
Breath of Life, on this Pentecost Sunday, we ask that You breathe on us once again. Make our consciences tender to Your touch. We hunger for the life-changing power that Your Holy Spirit brings. May our lives exemplify the fruit of Your Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May we use the gifts of the Spirit that You have distributed to bless the church and build Your Kingdom on earth. Amen. https://connectusfund.org/ CCLI #11641794
Evening Prayer to Walk as Children of the Light
Joy of Heaven, we are so blessed that You came to dwell in each of us on Pentecost, when Your church was born. Surely, through Your Spirit, we have died to sin and are alive to holiness. May we serve You faithfully, in praise, prayer, and loving service to others, as we are changed from glory to glory. May we walk as children of the light, in all goodness, righteousness, and truth. Amen. CCLI #11641794 https://connectusfund.org/

Clearfield Ministerium

As pastors and ministry leaders who serve throughout the Clearfield area, we have watched recent conversations and events in our community with concern and heavy hearts.
People who care deeply about our community find themselves on different sides of important matters. Strong opinions are being expressed. Emotions are running high. Relationships are being strained.
While the Clearfield Ministerium does not take positions on political disputes, governmental decisions, or matters currently being debated in the public square, we do care deeply about the spiritual health of our community.
Scripture reminds us: “Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” (James 1:19)
Those words feel especially important right now.
We believe it is possible to disagree without disrespecting. To debate without demeaning. To seek accountability without hostility. To speak truth without abandoning grace. To love our neighbors even when we strongly disagree with them.
We encourage our community to pray.
Pray for elected officials carrying the weight of leadership. Pray for public servants and first responders. Pray for those who advocate passionately for causes they believe in. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and truth. Pray for healing where trust has been damaged. Pray for courage to listen before speaking and to understand before judging.
The future of our community will not be determined only by the decisions we make. It will also be shaped by the character we display while making them.
May Clearfield be known not only for strong convictions, but for strong compassion. Not only for passionate voices, but for gracious hearts. Not only for what we believe, but for how we treat one another.
We believe prayer is more than a response to difficult moments. It is where wisdom begins, where hearts are softened, and where communities are united.
The Clearfield Ministerium invites anyone who would like to join us for a brief gathering of prayer in front of the Clearfield County Courthouse on Tuesday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m.
Members of the Clearfield Ministerium will gather to pray for our community, our leaders, our first responders, our churches, and our neighbors. All are welcome.
Together. On Purpose.
Your Clearfield Ministerium

Congratulations Jody!

She began her teaching career as a substitute in 1991 and is now celebrating her 34th year as a full-time teacher. Throughout her years of service, she has taught at Centre, Girard, Goshen, Leonard Grade, Third Ward, and Clearfield Elementary.

One of the things she has cherished most is the wonderful colleagues she has worked with and the friendships she has built along the way. She has also had the joy of teaching so many students, and it means so much to her when they return to visit and fondly remember their time in the “giraffe room.”

Her dedication to education and the lasting impact she has made on students and staff alike truly reflect a remarkable teaching career.
