Shocking news from the White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington tonight. A (apparently) lone gunman — just 30 years old — fired a weapon. Presumably the President was the target, but so many other leaders attended this event. The Secret Service apprehended the person very quickly. An SS agent was injured by the gunfire but it appears his protective gear spared him serious injury. Thanks be to God for His protection for all involved. Violence is horrible. Please, let’s all pray for our nation, its leaders and all in law enforcement. ✝️
