If you are looking for a church home that takes pleasure in God-centered gatherings, fellowship, mission, and life as a church, then we pray that you will visit us soon. At Water’s Edge we enjoy praising God each Sunday through gospel-centered fellowship, heart-felt praise and singing, and Bible-driven teaching that spotlights the glory of Jesus Christ—

the head and hero of the church. We also are committed to keeping families together when we gather and as we live life in community—as the church on mission. We believe that families doing church life together—dads, moms, and kids side by side—best honors Scripture and in practice outweighs perceived benefits tied to a modern church philosophy and methodology that routinely and strategically separates families in order to fulfill the mission of the church. Simply put, our strategy at Water’s Edge is to keep the family united rather than splitting it apart. In practice this means that we seek to challenge, train, and support dads and moms in taking the lead role in discipling their children in all aspects of church life, which includes worship services, small-group Bible studies, serving projects, and going on mission together. We invite you to come and learn more about the life and mission of Water’s Edge as we gather each Sunday at 10am in Clarksville, VA. Our Sunday gatherings consists of coffee fellowship, Spirit-filled praise through song, public testimonies about God’s work in the church and community, and relevant expositional preaching of God’s Word that highlights the good news of Jesus Christ.

Hello Water’s Edge Family & Friends,

We praise God for the life of Rebecca Hall who passed away at the age of 95, Sunday, September 6.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Oakhurst Cemetery, Clarksville, VA on Thursday, September 10th at 2PM. Please be in prayer for her immediate and extended family.

Rebecca loved the Lord Jesus Christ, had a kind, gentle spirit and witness for Him, and we are grateful she was able to be a part of WECC gatherings, periodically, over the past few years. She is now eternally in the Father’s presence, and to this we say, hallelujah!

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty…with long life, I will satisfy him and show him my salvation” (Psalm 91).

May it not be so at Water's Edge Community Church! Men of Lake Country, let's gather this Sunday, at 10AM, and worship our risen King who bled out for our salvation and redeemed us as eternal heirs with Him-forever. Oh, how great is our God. Yes, He is worthy of our praise, allegiance, service, honor, and life--for He is everything and everything else, though important, is less than.
