Church family, as we continue to pray for everyone affected by the devastating floods, let’s also begin praying for God’s direction as to how He would have us respond. There will be many organizations and agencies providing relief, but we want to follow the Lord’s leading in where and how we serve.

Let’s pray that God will guide us to the right families, the right homes, and the right opportunities where we can be His hands and feet. Ask Him to give us wisdom, discernment, and compassionate hearts that are ready to serve wherever He leads.

The need will not end after the floodwaters recede. There will be opportunities to minister in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Let’s seek the Lord now, trusting Him to open the doors He wants us to walk through and to use us to bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ to those who need it most.
