Hello. Hola, Hallo, Salut, Ciao, שלום, etc. This is Brother David Frame, from Clarksburg, West Virginia. I was recently called to the stake High Council and assigned to be the advisor to Single Adults. I will post from time to time with announcements and updates. Thanks to my old pal, Brother Irv Schuetzner, for creating this page and supporting Single Adults through the pandemic era. If you see this post, please like or comment, so I know it is live. I will post details later about an activity on November 19, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the Stake Center in Clarksburg. See you soon.

After a threat of snow in the morning, a bright sun cleared the roads and the Single Adult Devotional was held Friday night.
About 65 members (2 from the Pittsburgh South Stake) heard President and Sister Haws give emotional testimonies of challenges and blessings that everyone has had that has been on the earth.
Elder Calderwood brought the love of the First Presidency and took questions. He gave a lesson using a touching story of a missionary he worked with when he was Mission President in New York City. The lesson showed some of the issues we all must learn about our progression in this life. Jesus Christ did not come to earth and immediately progress to the fullness of blessings that His Father had for Him upon completion of his mission here. Our progression is more complicated but we are given hope through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We must realize that every week (except during conference) we have the opportunity to repent and renew our Covenants with our Heavenly Father by taking the Sacrament. That effort and our faith will restore us to the same direct path our Savior took on His path back to the Father! Elder Calderwood's lesson is not just for Single Adults.
Sometimes partaking of the Sacrament becomes a habit and we don't take it seriously. We all need to know that we are not alone and must insure that the Holy Ghost is always with us.
Many thanks are in order for the many people who made this event so special.
My hope is that each unit can work to have an SA Rep called to find ways to bring all Single Adults to a point where Christlike service and learning will bring them closer to the Savior!

In the wilderness, Brian has time to ponder the Book of Mormon and use it to help solve the problems in his life.
