Meet Rosie Rayzer

Rosie is a member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church and an active participant in our Youth Ministry. Her testimony is a powerful reminder that young people also face trials, heartache, and life’s difficult challenges.

In recent years, Rosie has experienced significant loss through the passing of both her grandmother and great-grandmother. These losses have been deeply painful and have tested her faith in many ways. Yet through her grief, Rosie has discovered that God’s love, comfort, and strength are sufficient for every season.

Meet Maria Thurman!

Maria Thurman is a faithful and dedicated member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church, where she faithfully serves as a choir member and youth advisor. Through her years of service, Maria has been a source of encouragement, wisdom, and faith to many.

For decades, Maria has faced significant health challenges, experiencing seasons when she was uncertain if she would see another day. Yet through every trial, God’s grace, strength, and mercy have sustained her. Her life is a testament to the power of faith and the faithfulness of God.

Meet Kenya:

Kenya Fields is a faithful member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church who serves as both a nurse and an usher. Her story is a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness and power.

After experiencing a serious medical crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kenya witnessed firsthand the healing hand of God. Through every challenge and uncertainty, God’s presence remained constant, proving that He is still a miracle-working God.

Today, Kenya continues to use her gifts and experiences to serve and care for others, demonstrating how God can turn trials into testimonies and pain into purpose.

Join us as Kenya shares her inspiring story of faith, perseverance, healing, and how God continues to use her life to bless those around her.
