Update on Fr. Melancons health as of noon on 9/8:

Fr. Melancon is out of the hospital and resting in a rectory close to the hospital in Lafayette. He is gradually getting better so please keep up your prayers. He certainly appreciates them all.

Fr. Melancon health update as of noon on 9/5

Please keep praying for Fr Melancon as he continues to recover from surgery. He will be transitioning from hospital care to recovery at one of the Lafayette rectories to be in proximity to the hospital and his team of doctors.

In case you haven’t heard, here’s an update on our parochial vicar, Fr. Melancon:

Fr. Melancon is out of surgery and doing well. They removed two massive blood clots from his lungs. He'll be staying at Ochsner over night and should be discharged tomorrow. Thanks for all your prayers.
