We had an amazing golf scramble fundraiser today! There were 30 teams, lots of great food and drinks, and a ton of fun! We will definitely be running it back again next year so be on the lookout.

We are having our first, hopefully annual, OLSH golf scramble fundraiser tomorrow (06/13/26) at Bayou Bend in Crowley, starting at 8am. Please pray for good weather for all of our golfers.

• Tee Off: 8AM

• Range Balls: Provided after sign-up is completed.

It would be smart to arrive in enough time to sign up, pay, and warm up before we start. If you haven’t paid yet, please make sure to arrive early so we can stay on schedule.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Team Captains: We’ve appointed one player/captain from each team, so please forward this message to your teammates to keep everyone in the loop!

💰 Cash Games: To add some fun, we’ll have cash games on certain holes. Please bring cash if you plan on participating!

🍻 Beer & Refreshments:

• Beer will be available for those who purchase beer bands at the sign-up table, along with mulligans.

• Free water and soft drinks will be provided with registration.

• Jambalaya will be served for all participants!

This is our first annual golf tournament benefiting OLSH Church, so we appreciate your patience as we work to grow this event in the years to come!

We still hold onto the beautiful reason Collars & Community exists: bringing community and collared clergy together through joyful laughter and friendly competition. ✨

Reverend Stephen Melancon has been appointed as Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point with its mission of Saint John Chapel in Lewisburg effective June 15, 2026.

May God who has begun this good work in him bring it to fulfillment!
