A day of jubilation dawned at Westwood Missionary Baptist Church as Joshua Lamb stood poised to take the next step in his ministerial journey, surrounded by his loving wife Bri and precious baby Wesley. Gather with us Sunday morning at 11:00 am for a Worship Service filled with hope and inspiration.

Director Archie Rich and field director Ethan Witt are on the road! They are currently headed to Purvis Mississippi to minister to those in need after the recent tornado outbreak!

If you know of anyone that may be affected in the surrounding area don’t hesitate to reach out!

Also reach out if you’re interested in volunteering in the coming days!

As always pray for traveling grace and that the Lord will put us in front of those that need not only help from the physical storm but also help from the storm of life!

Happy Friday!

We read in
1 John 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

The two greatest commandments are to love God and love people, and John lays it out very clearly for us here in this verse on how we should love.

We are to show love with our actions! It’s easy to say, “I love God,” but are we obeying Him? It’s easy to say, “I love people,” but are we showing that?

Real love is more than words, it’s shown in kindness, forgiveness, compassion and serving others even when it’s inconvenient.

Today, let’s ask God to help us not just talk about love, but truly live it out everywhere we go. Someone may need to see the love of Christ through today!
