Had a great Sunday
Our Ladies reminded us of the Unspeakable Joy of Jesus.
We also had a good fellowship while eating lunch. Then, we ended the afternoon at the nursing home with some good singing and message from Bro. Randy.

We had a great men’s breakfast this morning. Thank you Bro. Lee and Bro. Jerry for cooking us breakfast. You know it was good…all the plates were empty.

Scripture of the day 📖! The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. (Psalms 68:11). “You have my word.” This phrase has been one of the most sincere ways to express a promise. Men’s word was their bond. In our human state even the most serious promise sometimes fall short of being fulfilled. However, when the Lord gives His Word, you can rest assured, we can count on His promises. The written Word of God is better than any audible voice on earth. It is better than any vision or audible voice we could ever receive. What is better than a verbal contract? A written contract! When people place their signatures on paper, there’s no doubt what is said and no forgetting what was agreed. The same is true with us. How many promises has God offered in His Word that you haven’t signed your name to? How many blessings are yours, but you haven’t met the conditions of the promise? The Lord Gave The Word!

-In the Gospels, Jesus started the church, taught the church, and commissioned the church.
-The Book of Acts records the work of the early churches.
-The next 9 books are written to local churches.
-The next 3 are written to preachers from the preacher Paul about the order and function of churches.
-Hebrews is written to a Jewish Christian community, and they are admonished not to forsake assembling together (being a church).
-The next 7 books are written to persecuted Christians, read and circulated in the churches.
-In the Book of Revelation, Jesus writes 7 letters to 7 different churches.

There is no way to live according to the Bible and not be actively involved in a local NT church. It goes completely against the Biblical pattern.
There is a church for your family to serve in, and to serve your family.

“Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” Ephesians 3:21
