Had this passage on my mind lately:

"So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at My Mouth, and warn them from Me."
-Ezekiel 33:7

The watchman's job was important. If they saw any danger, it was their responsibility to relay it to the people. If not, they would be responsible for the people's death. If they did tell the people, and the people didn't turn, then the people would die of their own accord. What hit me tonight is relating it to my own life. How many times have I encountered people, whether they be friends, or even strangers, and not warned them of the consequences of their sin? The answer is, quite a bit. We are responsible for the people we meet on a daily basis. While we cannot make them come to Christ, it is on us to tell them about Him. We cannot sit back and watch people head towards destruction any longer. We must do everything in our power to see them come to Christ!

We know God's Will is that none should perish, but that all should reach repentance! Jesus told us to go and make disciples! I'm encouraging you (myself included), to go and win the lost! We are the watchmen! We are responsible to spread the Good News!

"Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil."

As the body of Christ, we must remember to conduct ourselves as such. We need to be getting along, not fighting over every little thing. We need to be blessings to our brothers and sisters in Christ, and encourage one another in serving the Lord! We cannot live like the world. The world needs to see Jesus in us! How will they see Jesus if the body of Christ acts just like them? We must live without compromise, be bold, and win souls for the Kingdom! I am preaching just as much to myself as I am to anyone else! I fail a lot. Part of the vision God gave me for this ministry is to passionately pursue Jesus, and encourage others to do the same! We must encourage nonbelievers to follow Jesus, and we must encourage fellow believers to be bold! Why can the world be bold, but we can't tell others where we stand, for fear of not fitting in! I don't want to fit in anymore! I want to live completely for Jesus!

God's Word says that the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers! That's the key to living for Christ; prayer! As we read in Acts, the early church prayed a LOT, and when they did, the Holy Ghost gave them boldness (Acts 4:29-31) They used the Name of Jesus to see the sick recover! We must spend time with Jesus, and allow the Holy Spirit to move in our midst! The church must get outside of the building! There's no power in a building, the power is in the Body! Rise up church! It's time to let your light shine!

Recently, God laid it on my heart to encourage people in their walk with Christ. This is definitely an undertaking, as I oftentimes need encouragement myself.

I go to a public university, and everyday I see people who are searching for answers in their lives. They don't know where to turn or who to go to. They need the Answer. Well I know the Answer, and His Name is Jesus Christ! He is THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life! You may not believe me, but I have witnessed His awesome power in my personal life! It breaks my heart to see so many hurting people, and so many who don't view Jesus as the Answer that they are looking for! You can look all over social media, academia, politics, occupations, or even your friends and families, but have you found the key to joy in your life? I know I have!

If you have been questioning, let me assure you that there is Hope, and there is a Way that leads to Life! Surrender your Life to Jesus Christ, and repent from your sins. We are ALL sinners (Romans 3:23), but God made a way for us to live with Him! He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we could be forgiven! We cannot continue in our sins, we must turn away! God is calling all to repentance! It's that simple! Quit doing things your own way, and turn to The Way, The Truth, and The Life!

I also wanted to encourage believers to be bold, and to stand up for what you believe. Just because it may not be popular to live for Jesus does not mean that it's wrong to live for Jesus. On the contrary, Jesus told us that we would be persecuted and that people would hate us. It is our job to love everyone, but we must take a stand against sin and understand that we are responsible for taking the Gospel to the ends of the Earth! Will people think we're weird? Absolutely! But there's nothing to worry about because Jesus is with us! Come to Jesus, He will give you the refreshment you need!

To be fervent means to be hot, or to boil over. Our love for Christ should not be contained to our own lives, but it should spread to the lives of those around us! Like a wild fire, our faith should spread to those around us! We must be fervent in Spirit! Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to freely move and have His way in your life? We must set our own agenda aside, and realize that God is in control of our future! Let the Spirit lead you, and quit doing things according to your own understanding!

"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in Spirit; serving the Lord."
-Romans 12:11

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

God is pro life, so I must be too!

God has a special plan and a purpose for your life! He has a plan for every single person who is alive today's life! God's word says in Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." The NIV reads; "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

God revealed to Isaiah that he had called him from the womb.
"Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name." (Isaiah 49:1)

God formed us from the womb. (Isaiah 44:24; Jeremiah 1:5)

Even before we were ever conceived, God had a plan for us, and he knew our name. Think about clay. The potter knew that they were going to make a masterpiece out of it before they had even begun to form it. They knew that they were going to use it to make something before they even went to the store to get supplies. The fact that it didn't look like a mug or pot whenever they got it doesn't mean that it isn't clay; it just isn't complete yet. Did you know that none of us are complete yet? Philippians 1:6 says "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." We are continually being worked on by God, and we will not be complete until the day that Jesus Christ returns! Take comfort in that! God is the potter, and we are the clay!
God is continually involved in every aspect and element of your life! Even if you don't accept him, his will for your life will still be done!

God has a plan for every single unborn baby's life! Just because human beings, with our finite amount of wisdom and understanding, may not see a baby in the womb, doesn't change the fact that God, in His infinite amount of wisdom and understanding, already has that baby's life mapped out for them!

There is only one name that can save you, and that name is Jesus Christ! Don't rely on anyone or anything else to get you there. You must call on the name of Jesus!
