Each week we offer several Sunday School Classes [Fellowship Bible in the social hall/The Seekers (Adult) The Ponies (children ages 3+/upstairs) and a Youth/Teen Class (upstairs)] from 9am to 9:45. A staffed nursery (children ages 3 and under/in the nursery) is now available during Sunday School and during our in-person Worship Services in our Sanctuary at 10 o’clock Sunday; we will live-stream to Facebook so you can watch along with us or at your convenience. YouTube feed will be posted later this week. Either way, please join us this Sunday, June 7, 2026, ( Sunday) as we celebrate Communion and explore Genesis 12:1-3 and Genesis 12:4-9 and Pastor Jon states “I Will Bless You”. Kathy M. is the greeter this week. The flowers on the Altar are in celebration of Ernie and Barbara B.’s granddaughter, Natalie’s, 3rd birthday. Happy Birthday, Natalie!

Scripture for Sunday, June 14th (3rd Sunday after Pentecost) Genesis 18:1-15; Psalm 116;1-2, 12-19; Romans 5:1-8; and Matthew 10:24-39. Last week’s (May 31st) attendance: 75A/3C in-person, 12 Facebook & 2 YouTube. The amount needed each week to make the yearly budget is $4,267.18; the offering received for May 23rd was $1,778.26 and $3,738.00 for May 31st. Next week’s (June 14th) greeter is Cheryl F.
Our weekly events are listed above. Today A.A. meets at 7:30pm in the meeting room. Our Ephesians Bible Study continues this Sunday, June 7th, at 5pm in the social hall or by ZOOM. (The link is below.) Manna Cafe serves lunch this Monday, June 8th from 11am to 1pm. All are welcome!. Join us at 5:30pm in the social on Tuesday, June 9th for GAME NIGHT. We will serve grilled hotdogs. On Wednesdays, the 3C’s meet at 10am in our social hall, and later that evening at 5pm in the Sanctuary Praise Team practices. On Thursday, C.I. Playgroup meets from 9am to 9:45am in the meeting room; UWF meets (light lunch provided) at 11am in the social hall, and A.A. meets at 7:30pm in the meeting room. Friday morning at 9am, the C.I. Library Board meets in the meeting room.
The OP SHOP hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 1pm. The FELLOWSHIP HOUSE is open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 4pm, as staff is available. Look for the “open” flags. Donations and volunteers are always welcome.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: The Seeker’s Sunday School Class meets upstairs each Sunday. The class is also offered via ZOOM. Contact Brenda M. if you would like more information or the ZOOM link. A Youth/Teen Sunday School Class meets each Sunday from 9am to 9:45am upstairs in the “youth” classroom. Please join Mr. Burton and his sidekick, Mr. Ken, each Sunday morning as they explore faith through scripture. Please contact the church office for more information.
Our EPHESIANS BIBLE STUDY continues this Sunday, June 7th, beginning at 5pm in the social hall. We will also offer it via ZOOM. (The ZOOM information is below.)
JOIN US FOR GAME NIGHT THIS TUESDAY, JUNE 9th, AT 5:30pm in the social hall. We will serve grilled hotdogs. Of course, you are welcome to bring a side or snack and/or your favorite game to share. Please contact Brenda Mason if you have any questions or need a ride.
CUMC is having a SILENT BASKET AUCTION, Saturday, August 22nd. If you would like to contribute an item/gift card, etc. to the baskets, please bring it into the office. Thank you for your help. As an addition to the fundraiser, a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, chips & a drink will be available for $8. Tickets are available NOW! Please contact Brenda M. if you have questions. (All proceeds will go to the purchase of a chairlift.)
BLESSING BOX UPDATE: We really appreciate your generosity and watchful eyes. Thank you to all involved. Our pantry has gotten low and therefore, we do not have much to put into the box. Therefore, we ask for your help in keeping it stocked by purchasing some items when you can (vegetables, soups, canned meats, paper goods, etc.) and dropping them off at the Blessing Box (or if you would like to bring in items to replenish our Food Pantry and set them on the table next to the office labeled “CUMC Food Pantry Donations”). Thank you!
