Just read this from my newsfeed...🙌

Judas is a reminder that betrayal does not always come from strangers.

Sometimes it comes from people who sat at your table.

People who knew your story.
Knew your struggles.
Heard your prayers.
Saw your kindness…

and still chose to hurt you.

Jesus walked beside Judas for years.

He shared meals with him.
Served him.
Loved him.
Trusted him enough to let him stay close.

Yet Judas still betrayed the Son of God with a kiss.

Think about that.

The greatest act of betrayal in history came disguised as affection.

That is why betrayal cuts so deeply.

Because the pain is not just about what happened.

It is about who did it.

The people we expected to protect our hearts…
sometimes become the ones who wound them most.

And if we are not careful, betrayal can change us.

It can make people cold.
Distrustful.
Bitter.
Guarded.

It can make them build walls so high that nobody gets close again.

But Jesus never allowed betrayal to poison His heart.

Even knowing Judas would betray Him, Jesus still washed his feet.

That says something powerful about the heart of God.

Because love is not proven by how we treat kind people.

Love is revealed by how we respond when people hurt us.

And maybe this is what someone needs to hear today:

What broke your heart did not escape God’s notice.

He saw every tear.
Every disappointment.
Every silent moment where you questioned why someone you loved could hurt you so deeply.

And just as God carried Jesus through betrayal…

He will carry you too.

Do not let the actions of broken people make you forget the faithfulness of God.

People may fail you.
Friends may disappoint you.
Even those closest to you may walk away.

But the Lord never will.

Scripture says:
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Not some wounds.

All of them.

So give God the hurt you have been carrying.

Because betrayal may have wounded your heart…

but it does not have to harden it.

God can still heal what people tried to break.

Facing our faults and dealing with them is a painful process. Generally speaking, people justify misbehavior. They allow their past and how they were raised to negatively affect the rest of their lives.

Our past may explain why we are suffering, but we must not use it as an excuse to stay in bo***ge.

Everyone is without excuse because Jesus stands ready to fulfill His promise to set the captives free. He will walk us across the finish line of victory in any area if we are willing to go all the way through it with Him.

Have you ever thought about this…
What if you got into an accident and fell into a coma? You’re lying in a hospital bed, tubes connected everywhere. You can’t see, can’t hear, completely unaware of everything and everyone around you.

Then 30 years pass.

Your spouse has grown older. Your kids are all grown up, married, with families of their own. Life kept moving… and you missed all of it.

When you wake up, what would you feel? Regret? Sadness? Like you lost time you can never get back?

Sometimes I think life can be like that when we keep doing things our own way—making our own decisions, choosing our own paths without seeking God.

But when we choose to follow God and His ways, we’re not just wandering. We’re walking with purpose. We’re being guided. And we can avoid so much unnecessary struggle because we know we’re on the right path.

Just something to think about today.

Listen, I have given you power… that is greater than the enemy has” (Luke 10:19). Many players appear on the stage of Gethsemane. Judas and his betrayal. Peter and his sword… The soldiers and their weapons. And though these are crucial, they aren’t instrumental. The encounter is not between Jesus and the soldiers; it is between God and satan. Satan dares to enter yet another garden, but God stands, and satan hasn’t a prayer…

Satan falls in the Presence of Christ. One word from His lips, and the finest army in the world collapsed.

Satan is silent in the proclamation of Christ. Not once did the enemy speak without Jesus’ invitation. Before, Christ, satan has nothing to say.

When Jesus says, He will keep you safe, He means it. Hell will have to get through Him to get to you. Jesus is able to protect you. When He says, He will get you home, He will get you home.

Perhaps the wound is old. A parent abused you. A teacher slighted you. A mate betrayed you... And you are angry.

Or perhaps the wound is fresh. The friend who owed you money just drove by in a new car. The boss who hired you with promises of promotions has forgotten how to pronounce your name.... And you are hurt.

Part of you is broken, and the other part is bitter. Part of you wants to cry, and part of you wants to fight... There is a fire burning in your heart. It's the fire of anger..

And you are left with a decision. "Do I put the fire out or heat it up? Do I get over it or get even? Do I release it or resent it? Do I let my hurts heal, or do I let hurt turn into hate?"...

Unfaithfulness is wrong. Revenge is bad. But the worst part of all is that, without forgiveness, bitterness is all that is left.

Encourage those who are struggling. Don't know what to say? Then open your Bible...
To the grief stricken: "God has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'" (Hebrews 13:5).

To the guilt ridden: "Those who are in Christ Jesus are not judged guilty." (Romans 8:1)

To the jobless: "We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him" (Romans 8:28).

To those who feel beyond God's grace: "God loved the world so much that He gave His One and Only Son so that whosoever believes in Him may not be lost, but have eternal life" (John3:16).

Your Bible is a basket of blessings. Won't you share one?

Are you in prison? You are if you feel better when you have more and worse when you have less. You are if joy is one delivery away, one transfer away, one award away, or one makeover away. If your happiness comes from something you deposit, drive, drink or digest, then face it - you are in prison or want.

That's the bad news. The good news is you have a visitor. and your visitor has a message that can get you paroled, make your way to the receiving room. Take your seat in the chair, and look across the table at the psalmist David. He motions for you to lean forward. "I have a secret to tell you, ' he whispers, "the secret of satisfaction. "The Lord is my shepherd, and I have everything I need." (Psalm 23:1)

It's as if he is saying, "What I have in God is greater than what I don't have in life." You think you and I could learn to say the same?
