Come cast your line, enjoy fellowship, and be part of a meaningful day with ICARE Ministry Church at our Fisher of Men fishing event. This gathering is open to family, friends, church members, and guests who would like to share in faith, fun, and community by the water.

Bring your fishing gear, comfortable outdoor clothing, sunscreen, lawn chairs, snacks, and a joyful spirit. Whether you are an experienced angler or fishing for the first time, everyone is welcome to join us for connection, encouragement, and a great day outdoors.
Please invite others! This is a wonderful opportunity to bring someone along, build relationships, and share the love of Christ through fellowship and community. Food, water, and snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Alcoholic beverages and smoking of any kind are not permitted during this event. You will need a valid Illinois fishing license to fish at this event. You can purchase a 2026 fishing license at any Walmart store and some bait shops.

By participating in this fishing event, all attendees acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk – Fishing and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, weather changes, water hazards, and encounters with wildlife. Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event.
Liability Waiver – ICARE Ministry Church, the event organizers, sponsors, and volunteers are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property that may occur before, during, or after the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Safety Responsibility – Participants are responsible for using appropriate safety gear, following all fishing regulations, and exercising caution at all times. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Health & Fitness – By attending, participants confirm they are physically able to take part in the activities and have no medical conditions that would make participation unsafe.
Photography & Media – Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. Attendance constitutes consent to be photographed or recorded.
Weather & Cancellations – The event may be delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Since this event is free of charge, no refund will be issued unless otherwise stated.
